"We thank the two young girls for their kindness and professionalism. On the other hand, the egg recipe is surprising (cold), we removed the sauce from the brioche sausage for my husband, too bad. An order error on our daughters' dish as well. We served ourselves the wine alone. On the other hand, we really appreciated the attention for my husband's birthday. Thanks for coming up with the idea to get our daughter involved. Good luck to you."

"We received the A l 'abri des flots menu as a gift, so we don 't know how much it cost, but it was certainly one of the best meals we have ever enjoyed. All the courses were tremendously inventive and delicious. The staff made sure to ask if there was something we didn 't like (since the printed menu told us nothing about what we were to eat! , and were quick to propose alternatives in that case (a John Dory filet instead of oysters, for example . Husband even ended up eating things he thought he didn 't like, and liking them... that 's great cuisine. The wine list is a bit strange until you realise that they specialise in natural wines. We chose a conventional Sancerre which was very good (and more expensive than the unknown ones . Beautiful view of the St. Michel bay through the bay windows. Although we had a lot of courses, it was all so light that we left the table refreshed."

"My wife and I had an amazing dinner here while staying in Cancale earlier this summer. We wanted one fancy schmancy dinner while on vacation, and we couldn 't have picked a better restaurant. From arrival to departure we were treated with warm hospitality, including starting...and ending our meal on the outside terrace. We had a bottle of champagne to start our meal on the terrace, moved it inside to our table for our delicious dinner, and finished with local Calvados back on the terrace. “Un Grignotage des bords de mer” was the perfect tasting menu for us a platter of chilled shellfish and fin fish, then a platter of hot dishes, then a cheese course (extra charge) and the dessert cart. We didn 't want to go all in with the big degustation menu, so this was a perfect choice for the best of what they have to offer in late August all local vegetables and seafood. The wine list is deep and well chosen, and the sommelier was on hand to answer questions for us as well. The after dinner drink menu is also quite something, as one is able to have a simple cognac or calvados, or find a rare aged version of these or other liqueurs and spirits."

"I enjoyed the frame, though we're a little too much on each other. There are crowds, because the restaurant must be a victim of its success. I just had the impression, being by the way, that I was served the most nervous beef piece... so 3/5. The price is pretty good, despite the meat."
