"Great Asian fusion dessert place in Hayes Valley that closes late at 11 pm. Great for groups who still want to hang out after dinner over instagrammable worthy desserts.It was packed when we arrived around 10 pm on a saturday, but we didn't have to wait too long. As soon as you step inside, the smell of sweet sugar wafts through the air. Our group ordered the bingsu which is just milk shaved ice with whatever toppings. We had large Mango Tango, large Ovaltine Volcano and a small Melon Snow.Mango Tango and Melon Snow was my favorite. The Melon Snow is very melon y and tastes very much like real fruit. The milk shaved ice was really good, very light and fluffy. I've never had something like that before.Large bingsu cost $17, which is pretty pricey. The small cup cost $9. I think the cup is perfect for 1 2 depending on how hungry you are.They also started selling curry outside of their desserts. So if you're looking for food, this is the place. Would love to come back and taste the other desserts as well."

"Sometimes you get invited to dinner and it turns out good. That's how I ended up at Gentilly tonight. The restaurant name sounded familiar because I used to drink at the Broken Record up on Geneva St. and the bartender highly recommended it. My friends who had cocktails said their drinks were good. We ordered the cajun wings $14 to start and all their entrees except for the beans and rice. Fish and chips $17, crawfish pot pie $20, cajun pasta $20, gumbo $22, bbq platter $24 and fried chicken $32. We all thought the food and service was excellent. Well done staff at Gentilly."

"I dined at a this cosy restaurant and tried their vegetarian Mapo tofu, and it was fantastic! The flavors were rich Szechuan style and the tofu was perfectly cooked. I also ordered steamed rice, which complemented the dish well. To complete the meal, I had a refreshing cup of iron goddess tea. Overall, the experience was delightful, and I would highly recommend this restaurant for their delicious vegetarian options and cozy ambiance.Vegetarian options: Impossible Mapo tofu"

"We came to Gram Cafe an order a couple plates that we wanted to try. We order gyudon, the thinly cut beef was so tender not over cooked great flavor the salad that it comes with was really refreshing. We also had to order the famous Soufflé Pancakes, I order the soufflé pancakes covered with a sweet creamy strawberry sauce. The strawberry sauce wasn?t extremely sweet it was so creamy and complemented the packages well. They have a verity of flavor sauces and theoriginal reg syrup. We also order the tiramisu pancakes, the Layers weren?t to sweet it was well balanced. We liked everything we order."

"Believe the hype! PPQ really is that good!!! We were in SF on a weekend trip Is heard about PPQ and looked up the reviews and was pretty impressed, so we made a reservation and headed over... it did NOT disappoint! Parking was super easy to find on the street and service was super friendly! We ordered the dinner for 4, which came with the classics we wanted to try (crab and garlic noodles). It also came with other dishes that we wouldn't have normally ordered but were SO glad we got to try!!! So first, yes the crab is AMAZING! Definitely pair with the garlic noodles and you can't go wrong! But the other standout dish for our family was the steamed sea bass- omg! It was SO good! The flavors were so delicate but perfectly balanced- it was absolutely delicious!!! The braised string beans and sizzling beef were also really, really good- for dessert we were served perfectly fried bananas with scoops of mango and coconut ice cream! In all, it was an amazing meal with great service!!! Will definitely be back again the next time we're up in SF!"
