"People, product place: the three P’s that are important to us in a business that we support. Santa Ynez Kitchen hits the mark in all three. From approaching the front door, to leaving at the end of our meal and every contact between is always excellent. They are professional while being friendly. If you have been there before, they probably remember what you like but always offer alternatives. Excellent staff throughout. Their product, food and drink, have always been excellent in taste and presentation. Something to please your palate and they are responsive to many food sensitivities. I am gluten sensitive and there is always several choices. And the place: very nice. Dine inside, on one of two patios or the covered and enclosed porch, it is always comfortable and pleasant. One of the best restaurants in the Santa Ynez Valley and Santa Barbara County. We have never been disappointed."

"Came here for breakfast, the website says it's open at 7am. I get here and the Cafe has been closed for several years since covid. Closed due to covid. Who's in charge of updating the website?? Whoever it is they aren't doing a good job."

"GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE TO DIE FOR ! I have ordered 3 cakes over the past year and all were amazing. The German Chocolate was beyond outstanding and I am going to order it again for a dinner party next month. The icing has these layers and flavors I cannot even begin to describe deep, rich coconut flakes and caramelized pecans that are simply intense, savory and sweet this laid across a bed of dark chocolate ganache and cake with just the right about of bounce (sponge? . Last week I tasted the Coconut Cream and it was that sweet crunchy salty all at the same time the kind that makes you simply want more. I got my 93 year old mom the Double Lemon Curd for her birthday and she said it was simply the best ever real lemon curd made in small batches and the flavors really pop. These are special event cakes (what makes a special event you'll have to decide that make you want to have a special event ! The ingredients are all real and things you will recognize. After one bite you will never want Costco, Albertson, Vons or even normal bakery cakes again. Just be sure you reach out early enough because Brandi gets busy, each cake is custom made and she won't do a rush job... but you will get the best cake ever."

"Yummmmm. Nothing else needs to be said but Yelp won't publish this short review. Terrific service. Love the breast basket. Corn soup was lovely. Wife had the pork chop and loved it. I had the crusted salmon which was cooked to perfection. This is a must try in this quaint little area of Santa Ynez Valley. Enjoy"
