"Despite some dodgy reviews on here, we decided to eat here, attracted by the African dishes (they also do the usual steaks, burgers etc). We thought the food was great, the restaurant was really quirky and the staff incredibly friendly."

"The pizza here is spectacular. I also enjoy their kir. We ate here as a family and the staff here were very friendly and welcoming. The kids menu options include a choice of pizza or spaghetti bolognese. Both my kids absolutely loved both options. The ice cream dessert was well appreciated also. I strongly recommend this restaurant for families, couples, and anyone interested in a delicious meal!"

"Doesn't look much from outside but is a nice clean functional hotel. In warm weather dining on the terrace or sitting by the pool. Its proximity to the medieval village is a big plus. Like a set from Les Mis. Good wifi in our room....Good food in restaurant. Simple but adequate room with an excellent shower,what more could you need."

"Not sure if it was because the restaurant was overbooked, but on the day we had lunch there, the servings were tiny, but allowing for that, the food was good and the waiter attentive and amiable. This central restaurant has recently reopened after renovation and...is charmingly decorated, with a few delightful quirks, such as the menu’s being presented inside bound books... giving it a ambience of fun and friendliness. The food is traditional French fare, with Tête de Veau being a regular option. We had three formules du jour, which were temptingly priced, however, while my main course tagliatelle carbonara was about the right size (just) those of my two companions were woefully inadequate, about two spoonfuls each, with minimal lardons... had we not been English and Dutch we probably would have complained, but, we believe the staff were worried that they had not got enough food for all their customers... poor planning on someone’s behalf I think. The food was tasty, but they do need to look at their quantities if they want customers to keep returning and recommending them. We will give them another chance..."
