"As a family of 8 adults we were treated for an amazing evening. The Wisteria covered courtyard with tables outside was the ideal place for our evening. The two young ladies were so helpful and attentive. The wine range reflected many local wines and... was cheaper. The dinner itself appealed to everyone and made changes for the vegetarian in our group. The quality and presentation of the food was the first class and we agreed that the pork dish was the most beautiful thing we had tried. We look forward to a soon return for another meal. Thanks to all employees."

"We were looking for a quality lunch on market day in St Cyprien. Nothing in the town appealed to us, so we asked for advice from the Tourist Office. The lady there suggested La Petite Reine. What amazing good advice! This was a wonderful find only 10 minutes drive from St. Cyprien a restaurant belonging to a small country auberge. We gave in to temptation and chose the €42 menu worth every penny. Wonderful food, friendly service, an attractive restaurant. On a better day we might have chosen to eat outside. We visit the region every year and this place has been added to our list of must do visits."

"Loved chef Eric Jung's cooking whilst he was head chef at Les Glycines hotel, so very pleased to have tracked him and his team down to his own restaurant, situated in the newly renovated Hotel de Perigord Noir in Siorac in the Dordogne. Went twice during our summer holiday and think having his own place has added something to his cooking, which was pretty brilliant already.. His restaurant manager has come with him and speaks excellent English, plus is very knowledgeable and welcoming. High quality local produce used, dining room seats about 30 plus some space on the terrace in the summer. But it's the food that is so special here, even with all the local competition Eric's cooking stands out, Modern décor of an old building, I liked it although some French reviews have been a bit scathing about their whole visit..... sounds a bit sour grapes to me as we couldn't fault the place. 2 x 3 course set menus at 28 or 52 euros for dinner, the former has 2 choices per course, the pricier one has 4. You can also go a la carte or opt for a 6 course 65 euros where the chef will do a tasting menu for you. Go !"
