"This little gem is a rare find in this area. Vegan friendly with a selection of vegan choices on the menu (mains and lighter snacks including a vegan all day breakfast with delicious scrambled tofu. Vegetarian choices also. Good choice of drinks inc. freshly made juices and smoothies. Homemade vegan cakes and vegan ice cream. More spacious than it looks from the outside with friendly, helpful staff giving excellent service. Good portion sizes, freshly prepared and good value for money. Would obviously prefer vegan only cafe but Café 50 is providing an excellent compromise in an area with little provision for a growing population of vegans. :"

"Ten days ago I went down to this restaurant to book a table for 8 people. I stopped outside the window to see the menu and as I looked inside a member of staff went behind the buffet and using his fingers, tasted every single dish! Even when he looked up and saw me,shaking my head he carried on. As I am involved in hospitality training, I know what should and shouldn't happen as the food service staff are the biggest contaminator of food and therefore should be trained to the highest level. As the Noor has a high food hygiene rating, I would suggest the owners should train all staff and warn them of the consequences of bad food hygiene to both themselves and the company. Needless to say I did not book and will not go to a restaurant I cannot trust"

"No idea why it seems so hard to find an affordable roast dinner, although this one seemed ok to begin with. So our children wanted a slice of chicken and beef and automatically this put the price up from the original £10.95 per child’s roast to £15.95! For one extra slice of meat, seems absolutely extortionate! The roast itself was nice even though they had run out of gravy so couldn’t have the extra we required. We then had a sticky toffee pudding which not only was super reasonably priced it was really nice too. When the bill came, it had said 5 pints even though we only had 4, so I questioned it and they lady said it was a mistake and would happily take it off. Then she looked over onto the table where there was 3 glasses and said “oh you must of had 5, you have 3 glasses on the table!” How rude! If we had 5, we would’ve paid for 5. This place is nice for a roast but the staff seemed rude and it’s not justified spending £15.95 per child’s roast for a slice of beef and chicken! That is unbelievable!! Be prepared to be paying silly money for an extra slice of meat for children’s portions! Had the staff not been so rude. We would return! Shame."
