"The moment we walked into Silks we were impressed. Very much a silver service style restaurant, the décor was a little over the top but suited the general ambiance of the restaurant. The staff were very attentive and we were soon seated and the menus and drinks list provided. I was a little disappointed that they were out of Tsingtao beer but settled for a Tiger. We decided upon the Yum Cha weekend special $48 menu. The presentation of this was first class. No trolleys dashing around but a series of courses with everything being absolutely delicious. The last servings for the main were a plate of Singapore Noodles with just enough tang to bite the palate. The other was duck which was absolutely delicious. A glass of a Pierro SSB matched the food perfectly. The final course was a dessert with a mixture of taste sensations and a separate serve of lychee jellies. We were also served a never ending supply of Chinese tea.Overall we were very impressed with the quality of the food and will certainly come back. Well done Silks."
