"I actually came across this restaurant by accident on my trip to Cartagena.Even having managed a Jean Georges restaurant in New York, I was deeply impressed by the service, food quality, cocktails, and presentation.All of the seafood appetizers that we had were super delicious, and the cocktails were really well crafted and presented as well. I had the Moscow Mule, which was awesomely balanced. In addition, my server handled a translation error I made with grace and humor and I was so appreciative. The owner is also so charming and so intelligent, and you can tell she is dedicated to providing the best experience possible.If you're on vacation with a more expensive currency than Colombian Pesos especially, this place is a steal. 30000 Pesos came out to about 10 USD for one of the best meals I've ever had in a restaurant. If you can rent a boat to get out here, or drive the long way on the highway, you must try it."

"We had lunch at this place. Tp all tourists visit, BE WARE, they overwhelmed us up to 30USD, although the exchange rate was. 0030 on the dollar, the lady claims it is 0.25, which is not the case... This ia a shame that they use tourists as a way to tear people off."

"The menu at Hotel Playa Scondida features many healthy items: fresh fruit, juices, fish, local vegetables and roots and excellent desserts.Three hot meals are provided daily to hotel guests.We were thrilled by the varieties of fruit juices and fresh fish that we were served each day.Beatriz, who designed the menu, assisted by the very able cook Loida, provided us with better than expected sustenance."
