"One of our favourite restaurants in Valloire, never fails to impress. Dinner for Christmas Eve onion soup followed by succulent stuffed turkey leg with foie gras jus and duck with honey and thyme sauce for the other main course, too full for dessert. Friendly staff...in traditional surroundings"

"10 years we come to 10 to valmeinier... we cross the whole ski resort to eat every noon in Meregers!!! Quality of exceptional food, adorable proprios! Denis the savoyard with an EXCEPTIONAL humour, and Laëtitia his daughter of a kindness that I rarely met! Every year, I come here every year, I look forward to returning to the Meregers. "We booked Chez Fred for dinner on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day having eaten here in the past. We were expecting a set menu for the festive occasion similar to that we had on New Year's Eve 2015/16 but were surprised that they were offering a normal menu service. Friendly professional staff, superb selection of exceptional food, slightly on the expensive side for the village, highly recommend when in Valloire."
