"This was our second visit to Resto Rene, and initially we were very flattered to be remembered and welcomed. We came with friends who were visiting. The food did not disappoint, however I regret to say that the service did. The staff told us they were cleaning up after an event prior to our arrival. But no table has been prepared for us on our arrival, despite booking months ago. We were given menus very soon, but had to wait 40mins to order. After ordering, our drinks arrived but weren’t complete, it transpired they didn’t have one of the drinks available. They also didn’t have the wine we ordered. During service food was not brought to the table at the same time, usually 3 dishes came and the fourth diner had to wait. During there appeared to be some kind of disagreement happening behind the scenes. Similarly, whilst eating, the staff were moving tables and ironing table cloths around us. Such a shame, not what I’d expect from a restaurant of this calibre"

"Very nice atmosphere, with sea view. We had the menu of day that has a lot of option. We choose gazpacho and grilled dorada/ gazpacho and pork chop. One drink (beer or wine) is included and coffee or dessert (gelato or tiramisu). The portions are rather small but adequate given the price. It is 17 euros per person. Bonus: free chupitos at the end. Very good service."
