"Lovely old building, beautiful music, However the choice, quality and presentation of the food is slipping whilst the price has now become unaffordable. Hot food (small pies and vegetable balls) were luke warm at best, Cucumber Sandwiches were gluey with cream cheese and poorly cut. Deli Ham and Salami with mass produced cheese I can buy weekly at the supermarket does not constitute high tea fare to me. Scones in which the melted butter is tipped into the flour and not rubbed in...Also, why am I constantly looking for staff ?Because although Coffee/tea is unlimited it cuts down on the amount served? This was a really disappointing experience.Not recommended."

"Stayed the night at qt visiting relatives, took my parents to the restaurant that night as I forgot to book a restaurant. Manager Jun on duty was great and accomadating for the last minute reservation. Food was great, highlight on the steak that would usually cost alot more then it is at other restaurants I have been too. Albeit still on the higher end pricing of hotel restaurants (we did order a few bottles of wine too) its also a lot nicer with better vibes than most. Would definately recommend, not sure why people are referencing it to a pub when its not what its aimed to be. Friendly staff at the time, tried to be attentive and offered services. overall great experience!"

"You need a Club member friend to escort you for lunch/dinner which features quality linen/silver service. The breathtaking views over the 10th/18th holes (where kangaroos can often be seen) provide a great backdrop to a surprisingly varied and consistently good menu and bar offerings with...friendly and solicitous young staff. You can eat light and casual or more substantively but whichever you choose the presentation is of a high order and choices are varied sufficiently often to satisfy the discerning and demanding clientele. I'm always proud to take visitors to the restaurant and we're never disappointed."
