"I'm being generous in this review by not eating the experience as terrible. Being from Toronto, where there are hundreds of restaurants catering to global taste buds, I may be the victim of high expectations. We were greeted by a staff member who didn't speak...Arabic, but mentioned that we should say marhaba' to the owner he'd be delighted. So we did, but he si.ply ignored us. For a busy dinner hour, the restaurant was empty. I cite reasons the lack of good customer service and the bland food. When I asked for hot sauce to give it some taste, I received a few pinches of cumin. It was neither hot, nor a sauce. It was a not a good representation of Arabic food and not the hospitality that I know from my local arabic community. My suggestion friendly and flavourful wins all the time. If you seek both, go somewhere else."

"I took my girlfriend and her mother out for dinner. This was a great choice. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was spectacular. The steaks are amazing. Juices were delicious. Salad was fresh. They even gave us a free dessert. Amazing experience! Best meal...in Cartagena overall."

"This place was absolutely magical. I didn’t eat there, but I had some drinks and was totally enthralled by the ambiance and the live music. It was a mixture of Cuban, Salsa and local Colombian music. A must see place: but then the most magical...thing happened. One of the servers got up and sang several intimate love songs. Make sure you ask for her, her name is Alexandra, she is a shining light in an already vibrant city. Thank you, Alexandra, I know I’ll be back again. You are a light in Cartagena!"
