"I haven't been to the restaurant yet. They also had a booth at the Gourmand Market two weeks ago. I saw the Spam Musubi and I wanted to try something new so I ordered it. I think they lowered the price for that event (it costs around 150 but smaller serving) I find it oily but the taste was okay. It's good enough for sharing since the rice made it heavy. I already feel full after eating 2 slices."

"After our dinner at Gringo which left us all with intense aftertaste of their flavorful menu items, we decided to grab some drinks / desserts so we can continue on our catch up session. ????

We walked from The Block to The Annex, but since it's almost 10PM, most of the stores were closing already. Finally, we decided to settle for Starbucks, since it was pretty much the only option.

I chose to have a light drink, and was curious about their Teavana drinks for a while now, so that's what I got.

✔ ICED SHAKEN HIBISCUS TEA WITH POMEGRANATE PEARLS (Php 135 - Tall)
When I got my drink, it made me fall in love at first sight because it possessed such a lovely color! ???? At first sip, I was a bit underwhelmed with its taste. I am not sure if the drink is naturally quite bland, or mine was just prepared with too much ice. ???? It tasted more like a juice than a tea beverage. The pomegranate pearls were an interesting touch, as they gave drinkers a unique sipping experience. ???? I personally am not a big fan of the pearls though, as they are a bit too sour and "mapakla" for my taste. It still is a refreshing drink that's great for this summer! ????

I do not like the ambiance of this branch, as the airconditioned portion is very small and can get very crowded, while the al fresco area is near the area where most smokers stay (even though who did not dine in Starbucks), so it's not a great place to stay and chat with your friends. ???? Service was okay.

I hope to try the other Teavana tea drink, soon! ????"

"Best place to chill after a leisurely shopping spree at Trinoma. Staff are great and don't misspell your name haha! Since I have long ago stopped drinking coffee I opted for some lemon tea. Good thing they serve Dilmah Tea. This is my next favorite tea next to TWG. Pair it with a Butterscotch bar or a chocolate chip cookie, you can never go wrong with Seattle's Best."

"My kids and I visited the Vanilla Cupcake Bakery and Cafe one weekend. We were amused by the charmingly colorful and eclectic interiors. It was very girlish, but it didn't seem to bother my teenage son.

We started with the Garlic Spinach Dip (P148). The cheesy, garlicky, and creamy dip was pretty good! It was served with thinly sliced toasted bread, which was a bit brittle (makunat). This would have worked better with crisper pieces of toast. We ate everything anyway lol.

We also ordered calamari (P188). Large, battered squid rings are served with a lemon wedge and some mayo dip on the side. It wasn't bad, but it would be better if the breading was crispier. It's a little soft so you feel like it's damp even when it's fresh from the kitchen.

My daughter had Pasta Alla Puttanesca (P218). I could see pieces of tomato in the sauce which is good. She finished her order and said it was pretty good.

She also ordered a ... read more "

"My husband and I tried the Mango Crepe with the Americano promo. Which means the coffee or if you prefer iced tea comes free. You will save 65php. I think this is a good thing since the cake itself is very tasty but a tad too pricy for me. I do like that cake is lightly sweeten and in every other layer of cake there are mango bits. The area is clean and the service is quick. It would have been better if the place is quieter but what can you do, it was an open space with the mall's sound system blaring on the background. Not the right place if you want a bit of piece and quiet.

joeydragonlady.com"

"So-so ????????

I liked the Spicy Shake Maki
Ebi Tempura is a so-so
But when it comes to desserts, don't order Halo-halo. Might as well order that from other restaurant or fast food chain who are more experts at Halo-halo."

"Red box is a great place to enjoy a night of drinking and karaoke, of course! However, I feel like the meals they served were at an unreasonable price considering the quality of their dishes, it should have been cheaper. You're also not allowed to eat food from the outside which was a bummer because I didn't appreciate their food that much. If you did eat food from the outside you'll have to pay pesos? Long story short: karaoke is a hit, food? Not so much."
