"Nous avons choisi des pizzas. Les Produits sont frais, on voit que c'est du fait maison et c'est très bien. Suffisamment garnies les pizzas étaient cuites à point. Le service est rapide. Je recommanderai ce resto pour un dej rapide. Il manquerait le petit conseil au moment du service : des recommandations sur la carte, les vins, les produits locaux ou régionaux. Ça serait vraiment un plus."

"Le Chateau is an excellent restaurant in Barbezieux. The menu is extensive and has something for everybody from pizzas and pasta to more traditional French fayre. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and recognise you even if you only visit occasionally. Unfortunately, it is not open on Mondays which is disappointing as so few establishments are open in the area on the traditional French revolutionary day of rest. I really recommend it; always a dependable choice."

"This restaurant is terrific value for money. The lunch time menu at 13 euros, consists of three courses with a jug of house wine. The buffet starter is limited but tasty, mostly rice dishes, with tuna,crab or vegetables, there was also a very nice pate. The main course was a choice of three different dishes. This was well presented and cooked to perfection.There was also a good selection of desserts. The staff were extremely friendly and the service efficient. We will definitely visit here again."

"We stayed at the camping for one night and had dinner at the restaurant which is right next no it. The food was really tasty and affordable. The service was very friendly. We will return for sure!"

"Lunch from noon to terrace. a smiling and warm welcome. the menu of the day is attractive but we take the map. Pizza campagnarde et tagliatelles carbonara. Both dishes are very good and the copied pieces that don't make us take dessert. a coffee to finish, for a reasonable price. an address to the advisor."

"We and our three children (ten and 20 years old) enjoyed a nice dinner here. there are two menus at 20 and 23 euro. each covers the bases with fish and various meats. both are amazingly well worth considering the quality of. eating and serving. Eating was uncomplicated, with all that cooked nicely. oysters were presented and appreciated on ice. for our steak lovers there was a fantastic entrecôte on the 23 Euro menu. three delicious courses, accompanied by our selection of wine. we were the only English people there, I speak some French, but the hostes also spoke a little English and we were very welcome. recommend this restaurant!"
