"Tired their crepes sweet and savory both and waffle . Good selection and collection of items . Really enjoyed the stick waffle . Chicken tikka crep was quite good .over all enjoyed the visit. Would love to go again."

"My daughter and her friend visited the restaurant. They were on their own for the first time in a restaurant without any adults. The restaurant wouldn 't accept cash and they had to use the app. They had trouble getting the website/app working to pay for their food. When they asked for help, the reply was nobody else seems to be having trouble with the app and they were left to figure it out without help. I think they could have been much more helpful than to just leave the girls to sort it out. Eventually they got it working and managed to pay but it took them the best part of 30 mins to do so. Rubbish place."

"Lasagne, chips, garlic bread and salate, and special sweet chili salmon and rice with red paprika were both delicious. Unfortunately, its success is its own defeat, as there are long waiting times to order and get hot food at peak times when there is a waiting queue. prices surprisingly favorable for a restaurant in the alton garden centre!"

"I don't ever leave a bad review but had to this time. The service was appallingly slow, the scruffy waiter wore muddy trainers and one of the waitresses seemed drunk. We asked for a wine cooler twice and eventually what can only be described as a plastic bag containing ice was delivered. The tiny candle wasn't lit despite asking twice, the table was left a disaster between each course and the food was less than mediocre with a grey mini corn in my unappealingly bland Thai tofu curry. The only redeeming factor was an apology from a waitress (blaming 2 broken fryers for the delay) and a free dessert each which didn't make up for spending over £80 for four basic meals which took 40 minutes and were less interesting than a frozen TV dinner."

"My first visit, wife’s 3rd. I was impressed with set meal price(Friday night)£32.50pp three course, The quality of food was excellent, service was good, my one quibble was price of a bottle of wine, for what was a very average Rioja,it’s noticeable that there’s no wine prices on website, probably wise, overall a very good evening, we had a 6.30pm sitting as evening wore on it became very busy, (8pm) Would definitely consider using again."

"Ordered from this place many times and loved it. I’ve realised that they’ve greatly reduced their portion size and quality. Their delivery times are also awful and my husband also experienced a very rude delivery driver. On the portion size- you now get a very thin layer of cookie dough with loads of chocolate shavings which gives the illusion of height. Waffles aren’t topped with the usual amount of toppings we are used to getting. It’s said considering we love to support local businesses. If quality declines and you can afford to close the store front (which hasn’t been open for a long time) then I suggest you do in order to improve the quality of your product. You will continue losing customers if this continues. In response to the business’s comment- I do support local businesses however there are several other reviews on here which talk about quality, customer service, drivers, delays and wrong orders. They are all prior to my review being posted. This should give you the opportunity to improve yet it still continues. I love your business and we have ordered multiple times since moving to basildon last year and would like to continue doing so."
