"How this restaurant ever earned a Michelin star is a mystery to me. First of all, it is a very expensive restaurant, but my wife and I are foodies and often dine at Michelin rated restaurants so price for us is not a problem as long as the establishment lives up to its reputation. This one didn’t even come close. Alcoholic beverages are served with an eye dropper it seems at $25 each. Service was rushed the evening we dined and waiters cleared the beverage glasses before we had a chance to finish our drinks. We were having conversation with our friends and didn’t notice their removal until the glasses were already removed. We were 6 guests in all and dinner was served in multiple small dishes several of which were lukewarm and disappointing. The most exciting part of the evening occurred when one member of our party NEARLY CHOKED on a piece of plastic cellophane about an inch long that was buried in a steamed vegetable dish. It was a close call. We informed the wait staff and told them to inform the chef assuming that someone from the kitchen would come to our table. That didn’t happen but we did get an apology from one member of the wait staff and an offer to remove that item from our bill. Later when we bitterly complained and told them that we expected more from a Michelin starred restaurant we were told that they would offer a complimentary dessert which we refused and left the restaurant. We will never go back. I hope they lose their one star rating."
