"The sea effect is a traditional and very friendly restaurant. the staff is extremely friendly and pleasant. The restaurant was called the wave but it was ephemeral. Now it's changed, it's called the sea effect. The mayor of the city has not changed the name of the restaurant, he had things to do with his mother. You can go with your eyes closed."

"Recommended to us by a fellow camper we weren't disappointed. we where met by a very friendly member of staff and offered our choice of where we would like to sit, it was quiet when we first arrived but began to become busier as the evening progressed. I had garlic bread to start and the portion was huge, i saved some to go with my main. my husband had prawns and avocado and he enjoyed every mouthful. The kids pizza was great value and it came while we where waiting our starters so we where pleased they weren't kept waiting. i had lamb kebab and the flavors where lovely and the right sized portion. My husband had the steak and again enjoyed it. he said it was slightly fatty in places but the flavor allowed him to enjoy his meal still. Overall i would recommend it here and if we went back again i would have Pizza as they where lovely."

"We had dinner here with friends and their kids, at their suggestion, but it proved to be very poor option. We did not like the choices but the service and food was very poor...when we complained the owner manager got argumentative. One child got his burger when the adults got their starter...his sister and the adults then waited an hour for the main course. When we complained over the delay the lady manager said you got a starter .....bizarre! The scallops we got were dangerously under cooked and the rest of the food was poor as well. A simple drinks order was messed up....after it was lost! We live in France so its not a language culture issue this place is just poor. There are much better options in Benodet."
