"I and my family went to Sunday dinner in the river restaurant, I can't recommend it enough. the truthahn and ham was unbelievable, not dry! we decided to get something sweet before we left, recommend the apple sponge. the personal was also very attentive!"

"Had lunch today in stables in Birr, it was very tasty, really good food fab cappuccino. Lovely staff, very cosy comfortable. Beautiful shop with so many fabulous gifts beautiful dresses. Will definitely pay a visit again soon. Look forward to more food .,Thank you"

"I can't rate Emma's Cafe high enough! Adrian Shine and his staff are fantastic! The coffee is the best in town and you're made feel like family when you walk in..great athmosphere and very welcoming! Debby's cakes are also gorgeous!"

"Called into Spinners on Evening of 27th December. We were made to feel very welcome. Had a table in baq dining area. Lovely selection on dinner menu. No Jack Daniel's but did not spoil the evening. We ordered the Duck and Steak. Both dishes were cooked perfect. Good portions. Lovely side dishes of cauliflower and Cheese. Lovely apricot stuffing with the duck. For dessert we orded the chocolate fondant it was gorgeous and baked Alaska. Both went down v well. A lovely place to sit and enjoy a meal. Praise to the two ladies who were working quietly and efficiently. . All in all a lovely evening to finish our Christmas holiday in Birr. Will return in Summer when back on holidays."
