"Aside from the service being a tad on the slow side and the waitress that served us being about as animated as a damp sock, my girlfriend and I had a very pleasant experience until it came to paying the bill. Once the bill...had arrived at our table the manager then came to collect our plates. Whilst he did this I told him that the pizza I had just had was 'perfect ' (as it was genuinely one of the best pizzas I have ever ordered) to which he shouted 'MERCI BEAUCOUP! ' in an exaggerated english accent. He then collected the neighbouring french couple 's plates and sarcastically asked them 'was it perfect? was it incredible? was it just wonderful? '. My sympathies go the the chef as his talent in the kitchen was completely overshadowed by an unprofessional jeb end today. If you do end up going here I 'd recommend the anti pasti and the la frienze pizza but just a word of warning don 't compliment the food as the staff don 't seem to like that and if you 're British probably best to find somewhere else. Il est pas parfait."

"This restaurant is set by the beautiful river that winds through Clisson and you are seated in a small, wooded area in front of the Hotel building. It's idyllic. The food and service were also very good. My wife started with the tomato carpaccio and me the foie gras. Both were very tasty. I followed with an excellent rabbit roulade on a bed of polenta with seed mustard. Delicious. My wife had the pork. The accompanying relish was an unusual pinkish colour, but also delicious. We were told it was a grain mustard with raisin juice. We accompanied the food with a glass of excellent Muscadet and Loire red. Very smooth and plummy. Highly recommended."

"A small, intimate restaurant with a range of African dishes. The food is well presented and fresh, probably best to book to be sure of a table. The starters are usual French fare, but the mains have African choices which are well worth trying. The...mango dessert was lovely, a very pleasant meal in all."

"CLISSON et son architecture italienne ! Devant l'église Notre-Dame, DOLCE CAFFE est une bonne étape par ces temps de canicule. La carte est courte mais les FOCACCIA sont excellent(e)s. Pain plat fourré cuit au four (focus) qui fait penser inévitablement à la pizza des origines, la ou le FOCACCIA tient plutôt de notre fougasse. Un vin de MONTEPULCIANO n'était proposé qu'en bouteille mais le CÔTE-du-RHÔNE se sert au verre ! Préférez le premier mais quel dommage qu'on ne serve pas un vin italien au verre. Le parfum d'Italie serait au rendez-vous !"

"Visited Clisson and chose this restaurant for lunch as the menu looked interesting. I'm very happy. Had the 3 course set menu that had much to choose. The food was amazing, delicious and beautiful presented. We talked about it. The cook can really cook. The service of all employees was impeccable. Service with many smiles. Also in the restaurant all the other diners seemed as happy as we did. We cannot recommend this restaurant very much. We're definitely going back."
