"Have just had the lamb roast dinner and can honestly say it was one of the nicest roast's I've ever had! Beautifully cooked food to perfection, even the mint sauce and horseradish were made fresh. "You have to taste this typical English food on the vegan version. we are not big fans of deep fried meals so we knew what was coming, but still the vegan version is a good alternative and the banana flower was a beautiful surprise."

"Been here a few times for food whilst staying at the hotel. First time a few years ago was fantastic, amazing food, lovely complementary bits and pieces that came with starters and desserts. The most recent time however we were in a different part of the restaurant with a set menu, no show of the price anywhere, not much choice at all, too many different staff coming up to your table, it was a strange quiet atmosphere and a bit awkward, my steak was lovely and tender but nothing special about any of it. Breakfast in the morning was good, some of the items were empty which was a shame but apart from that it was okay!"
