"Nice view. We came here on Christmas and were served by Miguel. Great service from Miguel and was very attentive and helpful. I ordered a mango not drink alcohol and it was very delicious. Had a starter with fried octopus. It had lemons and dried seaweed. I then ordered the beef medallion (mean rare), I also got the fried rice and seafood. Both were very delicious. My wife ordered the shrimps Burritos. We then ordered a dessert, also delicious. Overall was amazing food, amazing experience, great service and amazing views."

"What a hidden gem in La Cruz! We shared a BLT and a hamburger and both were completely delicious! The BLT came on a cheese bagel and the hamburger came with wonderful skinny fries! Fresh food takes time to prepare so it could take awhile...but oh...it is worth it! And the cost was very very reasonable."

"Lovely evening spent at the Black Forest. Staff is friendly and efficient, food is delicious and there is entertainment some nights. If schnitzel is your thing it is 2 for 1 on Sunday nights. Get a reservation though. It is popular."

"We wanted to try something new and different outside Bucerías and feet in the sand is so nice during a meal. What a beautiful and relaxing time we had at La Saranderia. The beach was not overly crowded, restaurant and facilities were clean and comfortable...and the food was excellent. My veggie burrito was the best I’ve ever had, with a large variety of tasty sautéed veggies. Staff was friendly but don’t be in a rush as it was definitely “mañana time”. Mostly locals so it really had a Mexican feel, very few expats."

"This is a great place with very fresh sea food! It is very clean, staff is great and did I mention we had great fresh sea food. We had sting ray, octopus and ceviche. The owners brother also owns a bot that we did some...whale watching"
