"My brother and I went to sleep at the football after a afternoon. the place is very clean and tidy including the bathroom. the personal was found very polite and friendly. we both had the special area of the month. what I have to say was delicious and hot. I have something to eat that is not hot. I drove so on the alcohol-free drinks that I like to say was right (not expensive) we both had different whispers that I had homemade applecake and ice. my brother had homemade lemon balms. order the medaillon at the top so that it is not soft. by the way, the take-up is also available. overall we had a great time and next time I will go back to the opposite one."

"Absolute jewel of a place. the service was before location as per reply to other reviews the owner/operator has checked on our party several times by the night to check everything was ok. (and it was) the prices are fair, but I believe they get what they pay and the used ingredients were not cheap or sub-standard in any wise. I had the pfeffer huh, and the huh was perfectly moist and the portion sizes were right for everyone. many thanks for the delicious meal, and we will be back in the future."

"As i only live mins away I'm a regular at Sultans the food is second to none and the Banter is quality just like the food Keema Fridays is my favourite but on a Wednesday I like to try dishes on one plate...so I get to try curry's I've never had before eg lentil and spinach and lamb and Keema with peas It's not the norm but as I'm a Fat Italian Knacker they do this for me and are gracious to please all walks of life even Indians Peter Pam"

"Booked a table for myself and family at the restaurant several weeks ago. Then a few days beforehand I received an automated email that my booking was cancelled. No courtesy email, no phone call, no text, NOTHING. In fact no reasoning at all. And that left us with little time to arrange another venue. I complained to Greene King and they seem to have just forwarded my email to the pub. Guess what? Still no answer. This is shocking customer service and time to avoid what has become a poor chain of restaurants in the future."

"Chapletown is one of the most picturesque villages in lancashire. they will find historic buildings around each corner, including the chatham poore. what they do not find is a good quality meal unfortunately. the chetham is the only pub/restaurant in the village. and all they offer is bad. obviously they have lost inspiration and passion. her menu is boring and outdated. the ingredients seem cheap and each meal tastes like it was made with the microshaft. you interieur is outdated and openly strange. it is so a shame to see such a beautiful building in such a beautiful place wasted."

"Called in Sunday for a roast dinner to be disappointed with a cold plate arriving with cold potatoes veg with what seemed like shop bought tiny Yorkshire puddings. The only thing hot was the roast gravy. We were the first to be served and we complained about the meal. They were taken away heated up, not the best meal. We finished what we could if the meal but it was not filling it was just adequate. Have eaten Sunday roasts before , but this was at the bottom of my list. No excuse for cold plate with cold food. The manager was lovely who spoke to us. Roasts were going out but probably our complaint made the chef up his game."

"I am so fond of eating breakfast here and try to visit at least once a month. The staff are always welcoming and the food, especially the bacon and sausages, are pretty good quality and have lots of flavour. It's hard to actually see how...they make a profit on the food. The one small criticism is regarding the toaster. It is a bit past it and there is a need to put bread through at least 3 times for it to browned. This can cause delays at this point. But notwithstanding the toaster, this ia a GREAT place to eat"
