"We had lunch here one day last week and found it quite busy, mainly with local workmen having the Menu du Jour. This offered no choice and what was on it didn't appeal, so we went à la carte, which made for an expensive meal. The starters were substantial and tasty, though my salade de gésiers was lacking in salad apart from a lot of lettuce. We both had duck in a honey sauce and this was very nice and accompanied by a good amount of potatoes. The desserts île flottante and tarte Tatin) were delicious and generous. The house wine was quite nice and reasonably priced at €6.80 for half a litre. So a very nice meal, albeit more expensive than we had expected."
