"Ate in the bar with a good view of the Haynies Corner fountain and the patio. Enjoyed the live music and had a great Lemon Drop. My husband had a bowl of Shrimp Bisque that was outstanding rich creme soup served with a fresh made bread stick. The tomato Caprese Salad with olive oil, basil and balsamic drill was good. The fish with home made chips had a wonderful sauce served with snow pea pods and the best light tasting hush puppy. Also had the meatballs. Wonderful meal and ambiance."

"I’ve been eating here for 45+ years we could run there for lunch while attending Glenwood Grade School (though there was a time Mom wouldn’t let me cross Riverside). Food and ice cream is still the best in town."

"Much better from the last time I was there. They are now under new ownership and it shows. The new owners have expanded the menu and increased the quality of the food. The food presentation was very nice and the portion sizes are very nice, I couldn't finish all of my chicken (I would have liked more veggies though). They have added some new decor and they now sell goods within the restaurant. My only complaint is that the chicken was overly lemony, however it didn't take away much from the flavor."

"Lauren was amazing and very polite! Also was very nice to my son who didn't like his dinner! When we asked if we could get something different and she was very nice and got him something to replace what he didn't like!! Very nice staff tonight! The food was good for the most part however on mine and my husband's food there was a lot of pepper! You could taste the big pieces of pepper on our items. Don't get me wrong the food was still amazing as always! East side did pretty good tonight!!! So 4 out of 5 stars for the food and 5 out of 5 stars for our server Lauren!!!"
