"My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful meal in the restaurant despite the uninspiring décor and the time it took for courses to be served. The food is artistically presented with interesting taste combinations. I had a selection of 5 mini starters, a main course...of salmon and a selection of mini desserts. The flavours were amazing. The waitress was very pleasant but the length of time between courses was ridiculous and there weren't that many people in the restaurant. We were surprised that the waitress didn't ask if we wanted to taste the wine and simply left it on the table for us to pour. Overall though, it was a delicious meal and we would certainly return if staying in the area."

"On a quiet Wednesday evening there appears to be nothing open in Falaise la Place was our last hope and we were not disappointed. Great pizza I think the owners were just a bit overwhelmed by the number of customers. Highly recommended"

"Called in for lunch whilst visiting Falaise. We hadn't booked and restaurant was quite full but we were greeted with warmth and accommodated without question. The restaurant was evidently popular with the locals and it was obvious why. Food was served promptly and was excellent, service very friendly. Good ambiance and fair pricing. We would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the town."

"Perfect! The reception was very nice, despite a arrival shortly before the scheduled closing time. Fanny is totally in the old Hand), the cakes and the Breton pancakes. Don't miss the salted butter caramel pan! A pure treat!!!! Very warmly recommended"

"I had previously read really good reviews on La Licorne and this persuaded us to try it out. The owner, I think, greeted us cheerfully at the door and showed us to a table inside as the outside tables were only partially shaded and quite close together. We each ordered a pancake with ice-cream and settled for the iced water on the table when faced with the choice of what to drink. I found the crepes to be good value for money but the drinks to be quite expensive.We all had flambéed crepes and the whole experience was fun and typically French. Three crepes with ice-cream came to just over 26 euros. We left pleased that we had tried it out."
