"The fine dining experience was to die for. We had a 4 course menu for our anniversary. The service is impeccable. However, we ended our dinner with poor candle lighting after load shedding hit. I only wish they could devise a better option for lighting in case power goes out. Otherwise, the food and service was just on point!"

"A group of us went on the Franschhoek wine tram and along the route we booked lunch at The Country Kitchen Mount Rochelle. It is a little pricey but the food was delicious and the service great. Everyone enjoyed their main courses but I do recommend to leave a little space for their decadent desserts and homemade ice creams. The cheese and charcuterie platters also look fantastic paired with wine tasting. The decor has sculptural features made from wine corks which really enhances the ambiance and complements the wine estate location. It is a beautiful estate and The Country Kitchen has delicious and local cuisine overall a lovely experience."

"Quaint, comfy, and tranquil. My deconstructed Greek salad was tasty and the service was prompt and pleasant. Imagine sitting outside at a small table and the temperature is perfect hovering just above 70. There is some light jazz playing inside and frogs gently croaking in the creek nearby. You don't hear any traffic because you walked along a 100' lighted path adorned with bespoke art every few steps. That's Cafe des Artes."
