"One of the best restaurants in the South Bay! This is usually where I will take people when visiting.Sweet Rice does so many things well and is very unique it many breakfast items. My personal favorite is the Jok, but my wife and I have tried nearly everything on the menu. The curries are great, the kao soi is great... But the area truly excelled is the desserts.The coconut ice cream is so creamy and delicious, and has a great choice of toppings. The mango sticky rice is the absolute best! I have no idea how and where they get their mangos, but they are always so good! If I could, i would give Sweet Rice a 6 out of 5 stars!"

"The pasta was delicious and reasonably priced. The burrata also tasted very fresh although I did not fully love the prosciutto. Giving 5 stars due to the pasta being really good. Service was also quite fast even with a line out the door to be seated."

"Got a bunch of the pastries to share. My favorite was the egg pudding. It was sweet but not overly sweet and the texture was nice. I think Orr least favorite was the fruit tart. It wasn’t awful but nothing special. My friends liked the mango cake the best."

"Great Burger Chips followed by a good Tiramisu....just a little let down by non attentive service. Its one thing having a relaxing meal but another being entirely left to your own devices... Not quite sure what happened here, perhaps just a little understaffed? Anyhow...the result was that we felt rather neglected. No-one asked how our meal was (delicious by the way) or asked whether we needed more drinks or a dessert... and we had to ask for the dessert menu. In any event we had a good evening here just would have been improved with better service and would have gained a very good, rather than average rating."

"This place and another mochi shop has been in Gardena for decades. The mochi is tasty and they have a variety using red bean and white beans for their filling. They also have mochi shaped like fruits and even tastes like the fruit. Parking is easy on the street. I felt the mochi were quite small for the price. I do understand that they are hand made. It is an artesian mochi. Not something I would go buy all the time. Like I said a bit pricey, I would stick with the traditional non pretty shaped ones and they're a bit cheaper. $2 vs $2.80."
