"I want to love this place, but every time they messed up my food. I have ordered several nice sushi and they have actually given me sushi. we ordered plant noodles that were “vegan” and they came in with an egg. it is disappointing because they are not cheap either."

"Honestly, I am not a fan of mushrooms and calamari, but La Pala has converted me to these wonderful foods. The mushrooms in the appetizer seriously changed my life. The creativity of the chef bring these food to their true potential. I also had the margarita pizza which was phenomenal!"

"Always delicious. We enjoy fresh pasta , imported cheese served with delicious bread (complimentary), individually prepared fish and vegetables. Good crispy pizza too both small and large sizes with variety of topping choices. Very pleasant atmosphere and accommodating owner Desserts also delicious especially chocolate mousse(home made) and cannoli . Prices very reasonable"

"One of my favorite local restaurants because of their amazing food and drinks. I normally order a bottle of wine and a charcuterie board, but I wanted to try something different this time. My sister got a lemon drop mocktail which was a little sour, but just the right amount. She said it was delicious I had the Penelope Pussycat which had Bacoo 8 year aged rum, Liqueur de Violette, and lemon juice. The drink had such a pretty color and had an interesting flavor to it as well!For appetizers, we had the Gambas al Aljillo which had a nice corn salsa to go along with it. We also had the Roasted Cauliflower which was cooked perfectly and the Beef Kushiyaki which came with chilled soba noodles. The Beef Kushiyaki was something so unique that I would not have thought I was in a wine bar. It was so flavorful! For our entree we got the Black Truffl'd Fettucine. The pasta was a bit bland, and I was surprised because I usually always order that pasta and it's my favorite. I think the sauce might have been a bit watered down. For dessert we had some tea and the Meritagewich' which comes with homemade chocolate chip cookies. The tea and dessert was perfect for a cold day!I definitely recommend trying this place out with a few friends and ordering a bunch of small plates to share. This way you can try a bit of everything. I really loved every single small plate we ordered! Thank you so much to the staff that made our experience a pleasant one"

"Every time i go to La Ginestra i'm happy i did. the food is great. the service is very good and they have valet parking to make it easy. the bar is a bit tight on a crowded night but not a big issue. on a cold, snowy wintery night it just feels very warm and almost vermont like (its a compliment !! . the baby artichoke appetizer may be my favorite dish in any restaurant that i eat in. it is a bit pricey but nobody leaves disappointed after a meal at La Ginestra."

"I've been in the mood for a good donut lately and found out that Angela's does bomboloni on weekends, so I knew I had to stop in and give them a try! I picked up a couple nutella ones around noon, right when they were fresh, and they were absolutely delicious! Pillowy soft and light with the right amount (ie a whole lot) of nutella on the inside. So good! 10/10 would recommend."
