"General The Holstein-known entrepreneurs and special postal market Pioner Banane will advance the reputation, it would be fair, family-friendly, cheap and a good employer. These positive properties should also be confirmed in the restaurant and hotel Shirtinger Hof, operated by its company, by professional and competent gastronomy: The very well-maintained property was stolen in the clear, clean and warm furnished and lightly illuminated countless premises with a friendly, pleasantly dressed audience. Shirtingen is very rural, somewhat distant but from Hamburg in the triangle Pinneberg Barmstedt Quickborn is relatively central and easy to reach. The hotel is located in the middle of the city and has a large parking lot. The table we reserved in the main restaurant was already highly thought out and was immediately monitored by one of the diligent, black uniformed friendly ladies in service, which should continue all evening. A very large menu with extensive selection and interesting specialties (one page monthly recommendation, salads, appetizers, meat, fish, rustic, vegetarian/children's food and desserts) made the choice a bit difficult to fall, but with the help of the eye-catchers dragged past us already appetite and curious. What was eaten: prawn soup Marseille type 3,50€; Shirtinger Hof Topf 3 Filets mit Bratkartoffelen, Champignons à la creme, Rahmgemüse 15, €; Lamb-back Filet mit geröste Potatoen, Bratgemüse, Rosmarinsoße 16,50; Zander fillet with sugar beet, roast potatoes, exotic Hoillandaise 15,50€; Gem. Ice 2,80€, Nockerln with hot. The cheap drinks were also at the table in well-organized operation. It followed a greeting from the kitchen: salmon roast with sour cream and caviar a beautiful, tasty impression. The soup served in the large plate, clear like borillas with wine vegetable fond, crispy shrimp, garlic and crumb, was full-bodied, durable and very tasty and yet fine and not overloading. The main dishes served one thing together after not too long a waiting period: They managed the balance between proven brick rust and fine, bright modern kitchen. The pan very abundant with tasteful and high quality fillets not too dry, crispy roast potatoes and creamy, finely seasoned vegetables. This round dish was served on warm buds, so that we belonged to an insider by a renowned local slaughterer. The fish served with 2 large, perfectly fried fillets on a beautiful plant level, despite simplicity was harmonious and suitable for a real fish pleasure. The wide-cut, beautifully dressed lamb was tender and rustic, tasty and plentiful; the red-cray rosemary sauce fits perfectly in the chord with the slightly acidic crunchy Mediterranean vegetables. The roasts were perfectly fried, but possibly comfort that did not disturb here. Further information: A reorganization of the fish sauce was possible within a few minutes: perfect! A dry red wine recommendation from Rothschild also harmonized. The whole food was hot, somehow exactly right and finely tuned and delicious in the spices. A nicely furnished smoking room is then available for the cigarette. A very good dessert with high-quality ice cream, coffee and distributor rounded off the evening and finished it with an invoice of less than 30 € per person. Where is something going? round and harmonious, well maintained gastronomy; high quality also in service. Very cost-effective. Very recommended we come back! ...to try out the great offer..."
