"Mir persönlich gefällt das Lucy Wang sehr gut , es ist stylisch eingerichtet, unsere Kellnerin hat deutsch gesprochen ( mir ist aufgefallen das dies ein Kritikpunkt in einigen Bewertungen war, teilweise sicher auch verständlich ) und auch das Essen hat gut geschmeckt . Sushi sehr innovativ und lecker , jedoch hab ich schon besseren Reis gegessen ( am Rand ganz leicht angetrocknet ) . Das gedämpfte Brötchen mit dem pulled pork schmeckte hervorragend , schade fand ich jedoch nur das mein für danach bestelltes Sushi auf den Tisch gestellt wurde während ich noch beim Essen war ( in einem Lokal mit einer Haube sicher nichts ungewöhnliches mehr als 3 Gänge zu bestellen ). Die Hauptspeise war ebenfalls sehr gut sowie das Dessert . Was sicherlich auffällt sind die Preise im Vergleich zu der Größe der Hauptgänge . Für ischgl sicher nichts ungewöhnliches , jedoch sollte man definitiv mehr als nur ein Hauptgericht bestellen um auch wirklich satt zu werden ! Was mich leider enttäuscht hat war die Tatsache das es leider keine wirkliche Auswahl an Cocktails gab da der Barkeeper an diesem Abend leider nicht im Dienst war . Natürlich braucht der Mann auch mal einen Tag frei aber gerade am Valentinstag rechnet man damit das es jemanden gibt der den Barmann ersetzen könnte . Zum Schluss möchte ich noch erwähnen das es sicher nicht immer leicht ist ein Restaurant in einem Ort wie Ischgl zu führen , mit soviel internationalem Publikum und sicher auch sehr speziellen Charaktären als Gäste. Was ich jedoch als extrem unpassend befinde sind einige Antworten des Managements auf gewisse Bewertungen ! Ich spreche selber gerne englisch und auch wenn es mich in keinster Weise gestört hätte mit der Kellnerin Englisch zu sprechen , ist es trotzdem verständlich wenn jemand erwartet in einem Restaurant in Tirol mit dem Personal deutsch sprechen zu können . Ich bin selber aus der Gastronomie und mir ist sehr wohl bewusst das es schwieriger ist gutes Personal als Gäste zu finden ! Trotzdem sind gewisse Antworten die hier zu finden sind einfach extremest unprofessionell und einem Restaurant dieser Klasse meiner Meinung nach nicht würdig ! Ich glaube man sollte anders auf solche Bewertungen reagieren ohne ( leider doch etwas arrogant wirkend ) dabei Goethe zu zitieren oder sonst irgendwen . Aber das ist nur meine persönliche Meinung . Alles in allem trotzdem ein sehr schöner Abend ."

"We visted the restaurant as it was ranked in Ischgl. We had salads from the saladbar the selection was not that big. Then we had pizza’s which were dry. Honestly dont know why the high ranking. There are much better places to go...to."

"This pizzeria can be reached with the slope 80 from Ischgl Samnaun ski station. Please arrive early because it is quickly busy. The decor was nice. We had lunch under the eagle statue balcony. Pizzas were great (cappriciosa and maffioso), mineral water amazing but home...beer not so good. You can access the duty free shop by heading to the toilets. Definitely worth the ride."

"Was there for the second time now and again it was amazing: We took the tasting menu and each dish was wonderfully inventive, cleverly presented and very tasty; the chef made some unusual and clever combinations, which worked perfectly; the chef deserves a Michelin Star, but I understand they don't cover the region, which is indeed very sad; price for the tasting menu is quite fair, it is just very disappointing that management tries to balance this via the wine menu, which is totally overpriced (EUR 20. on average per glass of good, yet not transcendental, wine is a bad joke); interior is a mix between mountain and contemporary style, which I quite liked; service was impeccable; go without hesitation, but pay attention to drink prices."

"We've had dinner at Trofana Alpin Restaurant twice before but this was about years ago. It felt like it was yesterday, nothing has really changed. But I mean this in a good way : We had the Fondue Chinoise and the portions are huge....Lots of meat, baked potatoe with sour cream, French fries, sauteed vegetables, pickled vegetables and different sauces. Everything was great. My husband managed to squeeze down a portion of pancakes with ice cream which was also great. Our son had sausages with rice and vegetables, nothing fancy, but he was happy enough. Kids can also get half a portion of every dish on the card besides the Kids menu. The restaurant was quite full and it was clear that they were a little understaffed for so many people. However we they handled the situation very well and we didn't miss a thing. Everyone was also very friendly. We're happy to recommend Trofana Alpin Restaurant to both families and groups of friends. It's also very reasonably priced."
