"Beautiful pub a large mix of local and clerkenwell business. Service was fantastic and food was amazingly better than your usual fare for Central London.. All employees really nice and the landlord even gave us a story of the pub despite clearly occupied we felt very welcome and all 6 of us agreed to come back soon"

"We really enjoyed our dinner here a month or so ago. We got chatting to the owner about our road trip around Italy and we asked him to join us at our table for drinks after we finished our meal because we were chatting so much, and reminiscing about Italy.. It was a truly lovely experience with good grub that filled us up. We will be going back. They also have a stall at Whitecross market which we will be going to as well. Nomn indeed !"

"As long as I can remember, my childhood was dominated by football. football training tomorrow followed by one of the local teams (nantwich town or crewe alexandra) on the afternoon with my brother and old man. as I have matured in the middle age (I am 30 next year) the football is not entirely the all-encompassing entity that it was once at the weekend (although I occasionally make dust from the boots). Nevertheless, if my brother (who lives outside of london) offers me a ticket for the arsenal, I cannot say no."

"Pleasant airy room with a brasserie feeling. beautiful that they have a selection of timelines for the brunch crowd. my bavette steak was one of the best steaks I had lately. normally served medium rarely, but I asked for rare. really smoky that they were shipped over coal with intense heat. it came with a beautiful horse sauce and a little water-dressalat. the chips let me down a bit. enormous and handier cut, but not a nice fluffy texture on the inside. a hake under boiled. my companion had some grilled sardines that looked great. served with grilled chicory and rocket. I tasted the Romesco sauce that came with this dish, and it was excellent."

"This place right here, Indian Veg is the hidden gem of authentic Indian cuisine. For a meat lover like me who went in with an open heart to not expect much from a vegetarian diet, I was so so wrong. Ideally located only 3mins walk from Angel Train Station with lots of buses and along the White Chapel Market, you gotta eat here First impression... Warm, clean and friendly. Wide variety of meal options, all vegetarian with lots of healthy facts plastered all over the wall. I was amazed by some of them actually and after speaking with the owner who clearly runs the place with lots of love and passion before profits, feeding 100 homeless people daily which amounts to 700 weekly, I'm in awe. Not only do I have lots of undying respect for the owner, every single dish were mouthwatering and free from any nasties like msg. I swear down, I never ever thought I'd like vegetarian food but I'm definitely half converted after visiting Indian Veg. Put it this way, I won't be buying meat in a hurry after I use up current stack in freezer. For a foodie like me, I couldn't manage more than 2 plates and there was no corkage fee to Bring Your Own Wine/Beer. Glasses were supplied too freely and the food supplies kept coming. Though you serve yourself but please, take small portions at a time so as to avoid wastage. Oh did I mention too that the All You Can Eat buffet is a tenner? Yep, very cheap and cheerful with quality homemade vegetarian, healthy meals. Every single person that were eating there were all friendly as we all spoke about how amazing the place was and for so little price, it should be put on the very top of The Best Places To Eat In London, England, UK."

"We have both visited Pin Petch to have dinner and have frequently ordered takeaway. This restaurant is in our view rather neglected considering its very high quality. The food is excellent; we particularly like the green chicken curry, chicken mad sa mun, and pad si liew (tofu with cashew nuts), but we have never had a bad meal. The flavours are fresh and interesting, miles away from some Thai food served in London. The service is very friendly. The restaurant is not very crowded, perhaps because much of the business is takeaway, but it is well worth a visit. We tend to order takeaway from here a few times a month it's our go to Thai place and never disappoints."
