"We had a nice time visiting with Maximo, he is a very personable fellow, had a lot of great conversations with him while we walked around Ixtapa. We had the very best bottle of Wine at Maximos but the food was just Ok, the only place I didn't enjoy the Shrimp the whole time we were there and my Husbands steak was underseasoned. I think if you had Pasta it's a better bet. The atmosphere is really nice and sometimes Meximo has live Music which is great. We would go back but just for Drinks."

"Habíamos pasado 3 años nuevos en el Faro con muy buenas experiencias, por lo que decidimos reservar y pagar por adelantado los 1500 pesos por persona por un menú de 4 tiempos y barra nacional limitada para recibir 2017 (una tristeza su "barra nacional" la PEOR calidad de alcohol posible) Llegamos y supuestamente iban a servir la cena inmediatamente, pedimos nuestras bebidas y no traían nada, ni agua para las copas. Pasó más de una hora y apenas iban trayendo el 1er tiempo y no para todos. Las bebidas, ni sus luces. Finalmente empezaron a traer la comida por etapas y no para todos, pasaron más de 2 horas para que comiéramos todos. Las bebidas traían lo que se les ocurría y no hacían caso de lo que queríamos. Le rogábamos a los meseros por nuestra comida y bebida y su respuesta era encogerse de hombros y echarle la culpa al bar y a la cocina. Hablamos con el capitán de meseros y lo mismo "la cocina y el bar están lentos". Finalmente cuando llegó nuestra comida, el salmón estaba baboso y desabrido, la ensalada sabía a cloro y los camarones y el atún estaban sobrecocidos y fríos. La actitud de los meseros era NEFASTA. Uno de ellos casi le tira el agua de café hirviendo a mi sobrino de 4 años encima, su abuelo lo quitó a tiempo y le cayó a él. Cuando se le reclamó al mesero, ni un "disculpe señor, no lo vi, estoy apenado" fue capaz de decir.Finalmente pedimos un agua mineral fuera del horario de la barra libre y cuando la queríamos pagar porque ya nos queríamos ir, ningún mesero nos traía la cuenta. La pedí 3 veces. Camino a la barra para pagar nos intercepta un mesero y muy groseramente nos aventó la nota con el agua. Le comenté ya molesta que todavía después de que les rogamos que nos cobraran el agua durante 30 minutos y no les importaba, se indignan cuando uno trata de tomar cartas en el asunto. Creían que nos íbamos a ir sin pagar. No señores, nosotros sí tenemos educación, no hay necesidad de aventar nada. Para cerrar con broche de oro, 6 miembros de nuestra mesa nos enfermamos horriblemente. Es increíble empezar 2017 con diarrea explosiva, abrazando al excusado y tomando antibiótico 5 días después. No fue NADA barato el ir al faro, al menos un servicio y calidad de los alimentos ad hoc a lo que se contrató hubiera sido bienvenido. Gracias por arruinar de manera tan espectacular nuestro comienzo de 2017."
