"Great Heuriger with excellent food and good selection of wines. The variety of foods is unusual for a heurer. The wines come from their own vineyards, with a larger selection of white wines and some red wines. Prices for both food and wine are not cheap, but are acceptable given the quality."

"Das Bierlokal „Palette“ liegt sehr zentral in Bisamberg auf der Hauptstraße, leider sind die Parkplätze dort sehr rar, man kann aber auf den großen Gemeindeparkplatz in der Nähe ausweichen, wo sehr viele Parkplätze vorhanden sind.Das Lokal teilt sich in zwei Gasträume und in einen Innenhof für die Sommersaison. Die Einrichtung ist sehr rustikal und dunkel gehalten. Beim Betreten des Lokal ist man gleich im „Raucherbereich“ wo auch der Tresen ist und die Getränke ausgeschenkt werden. Dieser Raum bietet Stehtische und einige Tische für die Gäste an. Anschließend im Nebenraum befindet sich der Nichtraucherbereich, der durch eine Glasschiebetür getrennt ist, aber nicht wirklich eine bauliche Trennung bewirkt, da diese Tür meistens nicht geschlossen ist und die Glastür zudem mit einem Puffer versehen wurde, damit die Glastür nicht schließt – nicht wirklich eine gute Maßnahme, da sich der Rauch dadurch in den Nichtraucherbereich hineinzieht.Das Service ist freundlich und sehr fix in der Bedienung. Die Menükarte bietet vor allem Spezialitäten betreffend Fassbiere wie Ottakringer, Murauer, Stiegl, Schremser, Budweiser, Guinnes an, die sehr frisch serviert werden und im Geschmack ok sind. Eine große Auswahl an überbackenen Schwarz-Broten rundet das Angebot für ein Bierlokal sehr gut ab. Diese werden auf einem Holzbrett sehr nett serviert und sind sehr gut im Geschmack. Zusätzlich gibt es verschiedene Salate, kleinere kalte und warme Gerichte und einige Desserts. Das Ambiente des Lokals ist sehr locker und typisch für ein Bierlokal.Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gerade noch OK, sollte aber auf diesem Niveau bleiben. "We live in Vienna but I only learned about this heuriger recently from a friend who lives in the neighborhood nearby. I went tonight with a small group and we enjoyed the experience very much. I was a bit out off at first when they...did not appear to have my reservation, which I had made by email a week earlier and to which I received a confirmation email. But they found a table for my group in a charming non-smoking room and we enjoyed the delicious wines and food. The buffet was very nicely done, with lots of vegetarian options for the two in my group who do not eat meat. The knodel with egg was delicious, as were the many salads. Standouts included the cucumber salad with dill and the potato salad with pumpkin seed oil. There were also some yummy looking vegetarian pasta dishes alongside traditional ones like schinkenfleckerl. There was a nice selection of meats including a very tasty roast beef which I should have taken more of. Also the bread was very fresh. We enjoyed an assortment of desserts including a sour cherry torte, an apricot cake, a raspberry cake with meringue, and a delicious chocolate covered tart-like thing. A party of older locals was leaving as we were getting ready to eat them and marveled at the selection. Their smiling faces and happy gestures let us know we'd made good selections. It was a chilly night so we didn't sit in the garden but we peeked at it briefly and it was very atmospheric and lovely. Hope to return one more time this season to enjoy it again."
