"The Mont St. Michel was not a pleasure restaurant-wise, but here they had a “hot vegetable” dish for a reasonable price with very interesting taste and texture combination! That was pretty (and much better than anything else I tried in other restaurants nearby)"

"After our overnight stay on le mont and a morning tour in the abbey and tiny st peters and his cemetery we needed a quick lunch before we drove off the island. restaurant st michel on the grand rue drew us with his menu of salaten. outside the door, but we decided to share a bowl of moules et frites, muscheln and french fritten. there were various choices offered, including roquefort, but we went with the crème sauce that we ended lovingly. the bowl was much to share. they can eat down and watch the people as they pass by the door, or above where there is a small bright window, but really no prospect. (if you want a look, they are looking for a sign advertisement “le vue” from the second stage window of some of the restaurants. service was fast; the ladies know that they see a lot on le mont!"

"This hotel gives you the chance to stay on Mont St Michel itself which is a must. It's pretty basic, clean, simple but the beds are clean and comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. It's expensive for what it is but then everything...on the Mont is more expensive than the norm for obvious reasons. Reception staff were welcoming enough, we had a few beers in the cafe downstairs in the early evening they didn't open the restaurant when we were there so we ate in La Mere Poulard down the road. The hotel have a car park which you pay for on the main land, P3, they will give you an access code on request. You get a free shuttle bus from there to the Mont whxih takes about 15min in total from car to hotel. Its worth staying there if you can."

"Restaurant only: We were served by a young and very friendly waiter who spoke excellent English. The mussels with creme were excellent, fresh and very tasty. I don't recommend desserts because they look and taste pre-frozen."
