"Our reservation was for 5 PM as so the restaurant was very quiet. The air-conditioning was blasting but we were readily accommodated in our request to modify it. The prices were comparable to similar restaruants. The appetizer ordered was arancini which was tasty but could have used a bit more cheese filling. The amount of wine in the wine by the glass was quite reasonable. One dish ordered was the pasta carbonara $19). On the menu, the dish comes with bucatini but tagliatelle was requested there is no spaghetti and the linguine is spinach linguine). It was as if the egg yolks were not cooked enough as the pasta coating was described as sticky . The other order was for tagliatelle bolognese $18). This is the proper pasta but the sauce was more like a red sauce with meat. There was too much tomato and the taste of milk or cream was lacking to me."

"We stop here on the way to our ranch for dinner. Always enjoyed it. This last time took a little longer to get our food. Then when we were ready for the ticket, it took a long time. We had to be somewhere before it was closed and had to wait for our ticket for so long, and our dinner did not help us get to our next stop before they were closed. You have to keep the items in the salad bar. Several containers were empty and the ranch was all gone. The restaurant was not packed and there was no waiting time. So we were confused about why we ran into the problems we did. We'll return safely. The food is good. You just have to work to keep the salad bar full and get the dishes and bills to customers faster. In any case it is worth trying it if you ever in the city"

"Just as good as the famed location in Llano Texas which I have been to 3x before this one. It is the same exact concept and quality meats but cheaper by a bit and faster service due to far shorter lines. I actually think that I would rather make thedrive to Mason (closer to home for me anyway) than make the drive to Llano to get great BBQ since it's so similar if notidentical at lower prices and faster service. I love the view you get over the pits to point and choose what you want, how much,pending whats available at the time. The half chicken, smoked turkey, and brisket are big winners for us. My wife and I lovedall 3 of them. The coleslaw is great, my favorite classic side to BBQ other than beans or sweet cornbread. The baked potatoesare big and soft, tender and tasty, load it up with toppings as you wish. We paid about $70 for all our goods and leftovers aswell."

"I had an amazing experience at Nothing Bundt Cakes in Mason. Ashley waited on me and was so helpful. She was knowledgeable about all of the flavors and helped with how many bundtinis I would need and a good mixture of flavors to suit all. I will be back!! She made it such an easy and fun experience! The desserts were well received by all and DELICIOUS. Thank you!!"
