"We were visiting Burgess Hill and don’t know the are so chose based on Google and Trip Advisor recommendations. We weren’t disappointed. This is a super,family run, authentic Italian restaurant. The menu is varied and helping are generous. We thoroughly enjoyed our pasta dishes and managed to squeeze in delicious desserts. We loved the decor and ambiance.. .reminiscent of Italian restaurants of our youth!"

"Place seems nice. Very limited parking and beer garden in need of some tidying to make it much more inviting. Only had the 1 pint and left. Food looked nice that others were eating"

"My first time ever dining here. Went with my partner for her birthday and I must say I was very pleased with how the evening went. The drinks list had a large variety of different wines varying in origin. The cocktails they served was also a delight and a welcome change from other places. The food choice for starters were incredible, would highly recommend both the chicken terrine and the blue cheese mousse. When onto mains the steak I had was cooked perfectly and my partner said she has never eaten something better than the pheasant they had on offer. We didn't have room for desert but I will definitely have to be back for that because they also looked amazing. A lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and the wait staff were all so helpful and kind. The food came out quickly and was absolutely perfect. I must say one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. Would definitely recommend to friends and I cannot wait to go again."

"Stayed overnight room was spacious comfortable. Breakfast was lovely the staff were great. Would certainly go there again if I was ever back in the area"

"Not a relaxing dining experience, booked a table for two on Easter Sunday to meet a friend who lives locally. Really was no need as fairly empty at 1pm despite this was not able to change table from the one reserved. Had just about taken my coat off when we were asked to order. Roast was ok but nothing special and given that I felt the manager/landlady was watching every mouthful I ate I found the whole experience rather off putting. It wasn’t as though they needed to table for another sitting. We stayed awhile longer in the bar area for a chat which is why I have rated it 3 as the bar staff were friendly enough. If I was just to rate the dining it would have been a 2. The fact that it’s located in a highly residential area with little to no direct competition the empty tables on an Easter Sunday probably speaks volumes."

"Six of us for dinner. Staff were helpful, including clearing up a broken glass on the pavement outside but a bit overwhelmed by their small print ordering computers. The food was mixed good fish and chips but very mediocre caesars salad great lumps of tasteless chicken. The sorbet was lumpy but the eton mess okay. Pea soup not well seasoned and the mackerel pate not smooth and with a large, solid lump of fat in the jar made it look unappetising. Overall menu rather dull"
