"Great historic building if you want to go for drinks!!! No vegan patties, 22$ for a plate of tasteless chickpeas and steamed veggies. The broccolini was told to us as vegan-friendly, but seemed to be flavored with bacon fat."

"The ambient music (Reggaeton) was very loud and a bit obtrusive for our tastes. My brunch special wasn’t particularly appetizing either. The potatoes in the hash were overly oily and the short ribs were mostly fat. A regretful menu choice. The quality food, service and atmosphere of pre-pandemic Piatti’s is no longer. Management seems to be more interested in being trendy and popular than in the quality of their food and in giving patrons a fine dining experience. Even their telephone voice message is unnecessarily lofty and pretentious: “Marin’s premier waterfront dining destination”. Please. Service was lackluster as well. I had to motion to the server on three separate occasions for basic beverage service. This post-pandemic Piatti’s iteration is a disappointment."

"This place has a new chef and has taken a step up in quality. It has gone from solid Indian food to some of the best I’ve had. Definitely better than any Indian restaurant in SF. If you’re feeling bold order a dish or two “spicy“ but be prepared they aren’t fooling around."
