"We were on our way and looked for a small atypical restaurant, no big bad food chain...What a charming place, a really top waitress, attentive, a unique menu but two desserts if you don't take cheese and really my husband and I ate very well! He's a tin squeeze me a mice of lamb just trusts excellent. We highly recommend this address."

"I am sorry but this will be my last ever visit to this restaurant. I went on a Sunday when the lunch menu is a little dearer than during the week but usually the food is also a little better too. Not on this occasion....The starters was scallops which were chewy and watery served with split peas and some sweet fruits. Nothing on the plate actually worked together and the scallops were bland and watery at best. The main course was a choice of confit de canard and chips, or steak and chips or magret and chips. All things which can be done at home. We chose the confit. What a big mistake that turned out to be. It was as if it had been removed from a tin then microwaved. It was boiling hot with soft, yellow, gooey skin that had not been crisped in the oven nor under a grill. The chips it was served with were stone cold. We mentioned this to the waitress and although the speed of delivery to the table had been good, she was not interested that the chips were not even warm. The cheese was one piece of cut brie (like a hospital portion) straight from a cold fridge. The only redemption was that the desert was nice and we enjoyed the bottle of Pomerol which we bought from the Carte. A Sunday lunch of this quality can be forgiven at euros, but at euros for two people, it was pretty shameful. We will never return."

"Dinner in love for my birthday, we chose the menu discovered 5 dishes of the chef, and accompanied him with the package "4 wines." from the mouth to dessert, it was good, even very good. the kitchen is classic, slightly revisited, the ingredients keep all their flavour; The wines are carefully chosen. "My wife and I had our wedding anniversary lunch here. I left a review when we visited in January when it was under different ownership. The food then was excellent. Under the new owners I honestly believe it's even better. We decided to...have the menu de jour which consisted of a a Rillette of Sardine for a starter followed by Skate Wing in Citrus Buerre Blanc with a rasher of bacon and mashed potato with pine nuts. Dessert was pear poached in spiced red wine. The food was perfectly cooked and nicely presented. The staff are friendly and efficient and the surroundings very pleasant with a nice atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant."
