"We enjoyed a mid week Dim Sum at this restaurant with our new friends. The two couples we went with frequent this place and invited us along!We went before the lunch rush.Easy access off Island Highway and very convenient if just coming from the Departure Baby terminal in Nanaimo.It is at the Brooks Landing Mall.Our friends ordered and our server remembered the order without writing it down.We were served Chinese tea and then a steady delivery of many delightful items. Served hot and very tasty with sauces. We had the use of chopsticks and cutlery when these little treats got a little slippery lol!It also serves a buffet. Weekends are busier apparently. Clean and well organized. Basic tables and chairs. Round and long tables for larger groups.We will return and maybe try the buffet."

"If you want a brew pub experience with pub grub go down stairs if you want a fancy dining experience stay upstairs at the nice dining room.They have a very good menu and make all their own beer, ask for the samplers and then choose the one that you like the most"

"This has been my favorite Chinese food restaurant for years, but alot changed in 5 years. The entire order was wrong! I asked and paid for sweet and sour sauce and they sent me sweet and sour pork, I asked for veggie chop suey got chicken etc etc. The ONLY part of my order that was correct was the 4 drinks we ordered. It's so disappointing. And no, they don't replace or send you new food it's a credit. Extremely useless at 730 pm when 6 people are hungry."

"A truly amazing experience. Food was divine and service was outstanding. We had our anniversary dinner at this place and it was beyond our expectations. The only thing we can point out is that it was a bit hot inside. There are no air-conditioners (at least they weren't running if they do have it) so it was a bit warm. Truly a minor concern, given the amazing experience we had. Highly recommended."

"I had vegan chorizo enchilada with ranchera red salsa. it was honestly the best Mexican food I've ever eaten. the vegan chorizo is so impressive, I can't believe it is made in the house. the aromas and flavors are perfectly balanced. I wish happy cow allowed me to give 5 stars because it deserves nothing less."

"We had fried rice, honey garlic pork, ginger beef and green tea. They are busy with take-out orders, as there was never more than two tables (including ours) occupied. The portions are generous. We did have to wait on the beverage. eventually had to ask the kitchen for our beverage. Overall, 3 out of 5 due to the extended wait."

"Travelled to Nanaimo, BC and went to this nice place. The gluten free pasta was very well made (a couldn't really tell the difference from the wheat version), the risotto was okay, and the gnocchi had a nice fresh ragu."

"This restaurant, has been open in downtown Nanaimo for many years. Lots to see on the walls, and a full sized old car, to boot! The food is great and the meal portions are rather large. Good prices for what you get on your plate....The chicken taco salad, excellent and I had to take half o it home. Servuce very friendly and promt. Will be back again."
