"We were driving through Orangeville and googled a place to eat lunch. Picked Bluebird Cafe and wow wow wow. So happy we came here after a disastrous Italian dinner last night. Service is over the top superb and the food does not disappoint. My son had the shrimp appetizer with Gorgonzola sauce which was divine. Hubby and I split the open face veal sandwich just because I wanted to have Italian as the night before was not quality nor Italian tasting. We all had pizzas and my husband who makes his own and is a very picky pizza guy loves the crust. And he said it is hard to get it that good. Everyone on this menu looks amazing. Wine prices are reasonable. I am coming back!!!"

"Just happened upon this place and saw the sign that said best fish and chip so we tried it out. Greeted by a gentleman with a welcoming smile. We got the daily special of cod and chips with a side of gravy. It was fantastic! Fish portion was good. Fish quality was great. Fish batter was the best Light layer with the perfect amount of crisp. Fries were ample and the gravy was fantastic. Will definitely go again."

"Coupons came in the mail for two can dine for $13.99 2 double originals combo and 1 double original. was our order I fry and I onion ring. I bottled water and a cup of regular water and a mountain dew We made them cheeseburgers with a slice of cheese. Kraft cheese slices were on sale but it wasn't passed on to the customer. Service was quite slow but the burgers were garnished properly and tasted great. The nice lady said the order was delayed due to the onion ring order Total bill with tax was $26.74. They did put the burger on the heat tray while waiting for the rings."

"Will never, ever return here again. Food was awful, even the chicken balls. I notice as the server was taking our plates she was watching how much food was left on it when we were done with it. Being who I am, I felt bad leaving food on the plates to go to waste but in all honesty, it was uneatable, just awful to say the least. As for the prices, we paid $15,99/adult I believe and $6 or $7.99 for a child. It clearly stated on the menu that the child's price was for children 5-11. My son is 9 and his friend 11, they refused to give my son's friend the kids price as she said it was UNDER 11, trust me when I tell you the ages stated clearly said 5-11. Ripoff artists. The food is NOT worth the price, not worth any price. My family loves Chinese food, we all came home after dinner and ate here. $70 I'll never get back :"

"Hadnt been there in a while and to us it seemed to have gone downhill. Had a friend visiting from Scotland and Rustik was closed so we gave BVR a try. Our guest had a garlic allergy and it was not well received by the server. We probably should have not overlooked the obvious signs, excused ourselves and gone somewhere else. Then the salmon plate arrived uncooked in the centre. We were told we should have ordered it well done as the default is medium (first time we had ever heard of having to order Salmon well done). It was addressed and we weren't charged for it but when the server brought the desert she said in a snarky way "no garlic or mushrooms in this". Our guest had already felt bad enough as it was. Also it was much noisier than in the past and noticed all the paintings were gone. The absence of those made quite the difference in the noise level and the ability to hear each other. Didnt see any of the great servers we had in the past so it's obvious there has been a regime change. In our opinion it is not as good as it used to be and no longer a good value. Even though they didn't charge us for the Salmon plate it still was not worth it for us. We won't be going back."

"Was out for a nice fall drive and decided it was lunch time; so we popped in to this little restaurant. Usually, I'm not one for gas station restaurants but the idea of a 'Taste of Asia' sounded delicious at the moment. Upon entry, we were greeted warmly, offered any seat in the house (it was a little early for lunch) and were pleased to see that there were some kids toys hanging out in the corner for my kids to play with and occupy themselves while I looked over the menu. The choices were abundant and our dishes were delicious; we had the Spicy Singapore Noodles, Vermicelli with grilled chicken and a Seafood pho bowl along with some spring rolls. All were delicious and expertly prepared; everything was very fresh too. Would highly recommend this restaurant and I would gladly go back should I return to the area."
