"Off season and on a weekday that's when we enjoy most going to Palavas for a view of the sea and a discovery for the palette. We were welcomed with elegance. The staff was helpful, courteous and smiling. And of course the food was...a pleasant surprise. The fish soup was rich and tasty we appreciated the quality of the ingredients which were evident in their harmonious broth. The accompanying toast, cheese and aioli was exquisite. The scallops were perfectly prepared and the ravioles a delicious creation that stumped us I thought there were mushrooms with the foie gras, but apparently there were not. The chef is very talented. The hors d'oeuvre was light and elegant. Perhaps I might have insisted a little more on a crustacée (but that is very personal the dish was very good). The dessert was as inventive as the other courses and as refined. I ordered one glass of white wine the waiter suggested a perfect match for my meal. We definitely recommend you enjoy your afternoon here."

"Le plateau de coquillages est une catastrophe. Moules avariées, les huîtres sont limités, les frites du menu enfant sont réchauffées. Je vous déconseille ce restaurant qui vous fait certainement manger les restes du service du midi.Plus jamais !Je viens chaque année à Palavas, ma famille habite Palavas et croyez moi la mauvaise publicité ne fait que commencer. !"

"Merci a toute l'équipe qui nous a accueilli avec le sourire et nous a fait passer une superbe soirée. Nous avons pris le buffet de fruits de mer et nous nous sommes régalés. Les produits étaient frais et le choix nous a largement satisfait.nous reviendrons avec certitude."

"Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was a bit disappointing. I had Cote de Boeuf and had to cut half of it off as either fat or bone. Sauce au Poivre was lovely though. Have a cheaper meat in the same sauce and strangely you'll enjoy it more. My starter of seafood salad wasn't great, my wife really liked her greek salad though. Dessert looked poor but was quite tasty as little piece of cake to my wife's taste rather than mine. My advice here is stick to the cheap menus then you may feel you are getting good value. They give you loads of chips. Overall mediocre, wouldn't choose to eat here again with so many decent restaurants round the port."

"We visited Le Venezia during a bike trip from Montpellier. On a surprisingly warm January day it was the ideal location, offering a large sunny outdoor terrace overlooking the sea. We all (group of 4) had moules-frites (delicious) and desserts, washed down with two pitchets of white wine & two coffees. Our bill came to 85 euros. The owner was friendly and helpful."
