"This review applies to all three of the Ladurée shops that we visited last month while in Paris (The Paris/CDG airport, the one on the rue de Bretagne, and the one at the Louvre). STAFF: Each member of the Ladurée team took great care to be as helpful as possible. While I tried to speak my best French, it was marginal at best, but they could not have been more gracious and helpful. They explained their wonderful macaron choices, as well as tea, tote bags, and helped us know how long macarons could last both refrigerated and not. Just the nicest and most helpful people you could ever hope for. SHOPS/GIFTS: Impeccable decor, beautifully arranged, and efficiently laid out so that you could look around and at a glance know what you wanted. These shops are a visual treat to the eye and a delight to visit. Everything was so lovely that I actively sought out gifts here for friends back home in California. The insulated bags and teas were perfect because I was concerned about the transportability and shelf like of the macarons (but one lucky neighbor got some from the airport location and they were flawless)! I got some great cylindrical tea boxes that transported perfectly, and will make a great gift of tea from France for someone who can enjoy the box long after the tea is gone! In summary, the staff was fabulous, the shops were beautiful, and I loved eating the macarons while we were in Paris. It was a great place to shop for quality gifts at a variety of prices. I look forward to going back!"

"After my flight into Paris was delayed, I missed my connecting flight and having over hours wait I decided to go to what appeared to be the nicest place in the airport. As soon as I walked in I was completely ignored by every...single member of staff, finally a waiter sat me down, I waited an additional mins for someone to walk by or even acknowledge that I was there, I asked the lady for a bottle of water, she gave me a dirty look and went on to have a conversation with anothe staff member my order was ignored and I waited another mins for the same waiter who sat me down to ask me if I wanted anything to drink. After my drinks arrived water and coffee I asked if I could please have a croissant to a waitress walking I got a nod and waited for anther mins for the same woman who initially ignored me when I ordered the water was finally bothered to come over I asked for a croissant again and she made me aware that they didn’t have any more. I ordered some French toast and as soon as it arrived the bill was brought to the table even though it was never requested. Then I waited another for someone to bring the card machine at this point I was just annoyed. From the continuous dirty looks given by the staff and lack of attention you’re better off going to Starbucks!!!!"
