"The place is nice and the food really very scented. We were 4, and all delighted: green curry, red and peanut sauce, all very successful and very different. only flat, the sound background with an English-speaking radio, not at all to my taste and a little too strong."

"We arrived late to our hotel and the hotel restaurant was closed. They recommended L’European. When we arrived we were greeted by Azzedine. He was so nice and walked us through the menu. Food was good but service was even better. Thank you Azzedine!"

"As a New Yorker and so (north) American, I have known the empanadas for years. I've never wanted these soft and pasty machines! but this new restaurant has opened its doors in the same place as the sadly famous ciao pizza and with great apprehension we have ventured into. very friendly staff, beautiful Argentine style décor. We ordered a marinated raw beef and another raw entry of marinated shrimp. subtle and incredible flavours evoking the southern hemisphere of the world. then the empanadas. We ordered beef stuffed, sausage, cheese, corn stuffed. wow is the only word. Nothing to see, even vaguely, with the empanadas I've ever seen. light leafy paste, incredible fillings. And a good cold Argentine beer to swallow these delicious treats.To complete this incredible experience, a homemade ice cream - same level as others! As I told the waitress after writing 130 reviews here, I couldn't find you a single negative point!"

"I was referred here by the desk girl at the Hotel Camille and I am forever grateful! It was a hot day in Paris, 103f, and even hotter in there, however, it did not disappoint! The hostess rattled of specials in English and, when I told her to just pick for me, she smiled, nodded and picked some of the BEST food I have ever eaten! Starters were Duck/chicken liver pate, fresh, crusty bread,homemade and to die for cornachon's! Then, into the Coq'avuin! ..speechless.... Finis' with fresh fruit and homemade glace' vanille... And the PRICE..THE PRICE... I left way more as I felt it was deserving .. Merci'... I will be back"

"A little more expensive than some bistro style restaurants. Really nice atmosphere and a very interesting menu - make sure you know your French or have translation potential (google etc). The food was excellent and served by the waiter and sometimes the chef.Waiter was super friendly - when our chosen wine wasn't available he gave us a bottle 10 Euros more expensive for the same price - a nice touch!This place has lovely comfortable seating - not that common in Paris!"
