"Several of us friends met in the restaurant. One of the group was Malaysian and was able to attest to the authenticity of the menu items. The food was well prepared, but the "spicy" dishes were rather mild. Most of the dishes could have used a bit more seasoning. Otherwise, the flavors were good. The roti was the last thing to come to the table but was freshly made and the accompanying sauces were good.The only issue was that one of us had one of the cold drinks and felt that it tasted "off". The waitress took it and followed up to say that it had been made correctly and that he could exchange it. He did not want another drink, so because he had tried it, he would have to pay for the drink anyhow."

"Do not expect the splendor of the Taj Mahal in this little immovable restaurant. Moderate in appearance, the food more than competing! The aromas of authentic Indian home cooking are here in the abundance. The service was polite and attentive. We had Goan Fish Curry and Lamm Vindaloo for nets with saffron rice. Beginning with the home style Veg Samosa Chaat with a slight dessert of roasted dough balls with condensed milk in sugar syrup (very sweet, but slightly). I can not remember the name of this dessert, but it was sufficient how full we were out of the net."

"I came here on Friday (24/02/17). While waiting for the rest of my party (3) to arrive, a man who was not dressed in a waiters uniform (whom I presume is the manager - "hot shot" tall balding man - Salim Kreich) went to the waiter whom I was speaking to and told him to tell me to move along or be seated. It's a bit of a round about way which I found quite rude as I told the waiter whom I was speaking too, whether we will be making the decision of dining and smoking or just smoking when the rest of my party arrives.I let this pass.He squished us onto the end of a table with a chair tacked... I requested if we could be seated elsewhere as it was very squishy but he refused. We received our menu and went on to order our dishes, being 2 mixed plates and a risotto. The risotto was average, the mixed plates also missing that distinct charcoal feel.... We ordered our drinks and I then requested the waiter for another coke I had finished one and pointed to it but she...

"Another one of my fave dessert places, this was my first time trying their new vegan desserts I was BLOWN AWAY!!! The vegan hot chocolate (like a soufflé in a cup) was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING I honestly couldn’t believe it was vegan, it was actually better than any other soufflé I’ve had. Gooey, rich and sooo yummy Also tried the vegan dark choc peanut butter pizza very rich with the PB as the base but again absolutely delicious. And the vegan hot choc is a plus too. Yum yum yum finally a close dessert place that won’t kill my stomach every tim <br/ <br/ In all honesty the service here is really bad and has been the multiple times I’ve dined at this particular Max Brenner.
