"We booked this restaurant for the evening to celebrate a special occassion. We had the whole restaurant for our party of 34 guests. We had a fantastic meal that was beautifully presented espicially the way the two desserts had been personalised with beautiful marzipan designs.We highly recommended the Bergerie as a place for large groups as well as a very good quality everyday lunchtime restaurant. It has an excellent chef who serves freshly cooked quality food at reasonable prices"

"We are in a campervan and stopped at lunchtime to consult Trip Advisor. After reading the reviews we set out to find this restaurant and we weren't disappointed. For a head we had a magnificent course meal with a demi litre of red...wine. Sadly I was driving but my husband really appreciated the wine. For starters my husband had soup and I had different types of pâté followed by paella for my husband and chicken supreme, carrots and chips for me and finally crème brûlée for my husband and cherry tart with cream for me. The food was plentiful and tasty. The parking is easy and our dog would have been welcomed had we chosen to take her in. The owners are very friendly and made us feel extremely welcome. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant."

"Nice cafe style with more seating upstairs. The menu was very short (not a criticism) and we opted for the home made burger and sautéed potatoes. The burger tasted really nice, the potatoes were plentiful for a lunchtime meal. The quiche looked like a good...option also. We shared the two desserts of panacotta and a pear crumble. This was a very well attended venue with "ladies who lunch" and plenty of hipsters in attendance. I would say that you would not be out of place if you had children with you as well though. We paid each which included a soft or hot drink. Alcohol available at an additional cost. The staff will try to help in English if you struggle with French. You will realise the significance of the name when you see the cartoons on the wall"

"This restaurant is attached to the beast market socheck opening times. A huge choice of starters, self service, from fresh prawns and snails to every kink of salad and pate. Interesting traditional dishes we have never seen before..Usually main courses, wine is included, you...help yourself, cheese and huge choice of deserts...everything is there and the quality is good. If things get more expensive they put up their price by a little but do not compromise on quality. courses with wine a month ago Go hungry, take your time , enjoy the atmosphere."

"Good food, wine, service and ambiance. We sat out on the terrace and were welcomed without a reservation on a Friday evening. Enstone enjoyed their meal. The house red was not good, no worries to say so and the owner replaced the small carafe with...a full bottle!"

"We went back to this little restaurant for our wedding anniversary, I had a better memory of this establishment, service not really worthy of a gourmet restaurant, our dishes were good but nothing exceptional, on the other hand the desserts were sumptuous, as to the frame nothing to do with our first visit, sober and pretty"
