"Small Italian restaurant, but a great reputation for its quality of food, La Gaetana slowly serves fine culinary experience. Michelin Bib Gourmand received. The owners are very friendly and attentive. Very recommended to try the pasta. So gooddddddddd. Please reserve the tables in advance. Limited tables make it very difficult to enter. "One of the good cafe and restaurant in the little Phangna town. Nice view of the lake surrounded by mountains except ugly government building in the middle. Big menu serving from Thai, international, vegetarian food. One dish with rice is reasonable price. We ordered few vegetarian dishes price range from 80-120 baht. Some dishes are pricey like we ordered 5 friends stir fried with 5 pieces of fish with mainly skin notch meat, cashew nut, onion, dried chilli, spring onions for the price of 250 baht!. Roti was good 55 baht with Ovaltine on top. Drink rose flavoured soda was average and quite pricey for 75 baht. Staffs were good. Food was a bit slow we went during 2-3 pm. Overall I would rate this as a good cafe and restaurant in this little laid back lovely little town. Recommend to try out if you come visit or pass the town."
