"Nice family owned sidewalk cafe restaurant facing the main street and Rhein river as well as an active train track. Very good location. We were told we needed reservations and the next day told they don't take reservations. Around 8pm tables start to clear out on a Fri Sat nite when we were there. Staff was friendly, service was good. The portions were good as were the flavors. We had the spicy chicken and cordon bleu. I will go again just for the cordon bleu. There was a constant flow of people of all ages so it was perfect for people watching. Watch out for the bottled water at 6€, less than a Euro in a store. We were charged extra for ketchup and mayo as well as for paper to go boxes. We think the wine by the bottle was over priced in that we were in the middle of a major wine producing center. Nevertheless, worth trying."

"This has to be one of the best meals we have had in Germany. The service we had was warm and friendly and the food was delicious. My hubbie had tender steak in a peppercorn sauce and I had a hamburger that was huge. For...desserts he had a creme brûlée and I had an apple strudel. A nice bottle of wine and a coupe of drinks and a bottle of water later and all of this cost us €80. Yes we would definitely recommend this and yes we would definitely go back!"

"An diesem Eiscafe kommt fast jeder in Rüdesheim vorbei, da es direkt in der Drosselgasse liegt. Wir haben uns (aufgrund der positiven Bewertungen bei Tripadvisor) dort ein Eis geholt. Leider hatten wir keine Zeit uns dort auch hinzusetzen - das Innere sieht wirklich schön aus und läd zum Verweilen ein! Ich habe mich für 2 Bällchen Stracciatella und dunkle Schoki entschieden - die beiden Sorten waren sehr lecker. Dunkle Schokolade bekommt man nicht überall, das fand ich super. Wer möchte bekommt dort auch Rüdesheimer Kaffee :) Daumen hoch für diese Eisdiele."

"Stradt Frankfurt was incredible. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Our server was very friendly and made us feel so welcomed. As American tourists, this type of service is not always the case. The cream of mushroom soup was amazing. My husband had the pork knuckle and he was so happy. The prices are also very reasonable. We saw many locals there and that’s great because it tells you that it’s not a tourist trap. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rudensheim am Rhein, Germany."

"Wir sind Nachmittags im Lamm eingekehrt, da wir vom Wandern hungrig waren. Die Bedienung war sehr flink, dabei aber trotzdem sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir haben das Schweinefilet und einmal die Hähnchenkeule in Riesling Soße bestellt. Beides war sehr schmackhaft, eindeutig Hausgemacht und von den Portionsgrößen für uns genau richtig. Die Preise gehen für das gebotene absolut in Ordnung. Wenn wir mal wieder in der Gegend sind, kommen wir gerne wieder."
