"The place needs an extra effort to locate. This restaurant serves Chinese a handful of Pinoy food. Tasty value for money. It is clean attended by courteous staff. Even the restroom is clean. They have an array of food items which are...reasonably priced. I will definitely recommend my friends to visit this place again."

A classic restaurant with a long history and unchanging taste, located at Guevarra's St, cor. Argonne, San Juan, Metro Manila. A homey restaurant...that serves simple, amazingly well seasoned, and authentic Filipino food. This is one of the best eat all you can places I know. Try their famous angus tapa, kare-kare, lechon and many more. Overall, an enjoyable lunch or dinner to have with your family and friends. Most importantly, I think the price is reasonable and affordable for the food. Highly recommended for foreigners who haven't tried real Pinoy food."

"Love the variety of choices this diner brings when it comes to food and drinks - mostly healthy choices. Very inviting presentation and platings of sandwiches and dishes, very generous servings and reasonably priced too. Love their salads with their delicious dressings. The diner has s bright and airy pleasant atmosphere, with good service. I've been a regular for the past few months."

"This place truly is a hidden gem. It was rated in the top 10 breakfast places in Manila, so we had to try it out. It really is that good.We had the crepes (which are all gluten free, since I am gluten intolerant), and they were large, delicious, and beautifully made. There are quite a variety of crepes to choose from, and their menu is online, so you can come prepared. As I said, the food was outstanding and the portions were large, however the prices were low. P300-400 for a luxurious meal big enough for two.I will definitely come back and heartily recommend this to others."

"They have a good take on the sansrival and they also serve the great carrot brot available to take. this is one of the places where they can get tee for one because and either a pasta set or a rice flour and they are all ready to relieve their hunger. it's a small place, but it's years here, so it means that it thrives. they also sell some biscuits and snacks for them to homes such as their haferflakes and chocolate chip cookies, lengua de gato, meringue kisses for the sweet tooth and our melba toast when they are lying any dives to the house."

"I've had Sugar House's Apple Pie ever since I can remember. It's home for me -just the apple pie.<br>
We went there today to just get a slice but we ended up eating there instead. <br>

Let's get into the delicious details... The Yema Balls were comforting but they were a little oily for me, I could say I've had better. I had no qualms with the Club Sandwich because it was tasty and kind of right for the weather but It's not something I'd go gaga for. Pigs in a Blanket (Bacon Wrapped Hungarian Sausage in a bun with Potato Chips) were okay but the potato chips tasted kind of funny. The chowder was soothing, perfect for a tiring day. Not to mention the really long garlic bread they threw in.<br>

Over all it was an okay visit. However, we were surprised that our bill reached 1,020. It looked like something in the range of 600-700. If you're ever in the mood for something light or something that would be just right, this is it. Not the stuff your face kind of deal, more of petite eating.<br>

Their pastries are all divine! At least all those that I've tried.<br>

"This place is near our house and I have always loved the cozy interior as well as the different meals and desserts they serve. However, last Saturday I visited her with only one plan - to try her unicorn drink. <br>

Two flavors were available - strawberry and taro. I ordered the medium size taro and the presentation was pretty good. It was so colorful and swirling and kids will surely love it. It looked really, really cute however, and just staring at it gave me a sugar boost (hahaha). I was expecting to only taste sugar and calories on my first sip, but I was quite surprised because it was really good! The pearls were delicious and you could still try the taro despite what happened in the drink."

"Best.mojos.ever. More often than not I buy mojos and nothing else. I also remember the time when I would buy mojos and pair it up with rice and ketchup. Carb loading galore! That is how much I love mojos. However, I was pleasantly surprised that shakeys is now offering an 18" pizza with four different flavors in one pizza! That upped the ante for me. I goota get me one of those! Pronto!"

"Poorest buffet experience ever. sayang ang pera. the employees are not very kreatiw and attentive, nag tetext pa habang nag tratrabaho, we have even for our own table, ni hindi manlang kayang ibigay at i-set ang table na for 12 pax kami pa nag isip...at nag ayos nga lamesa plus sabi ng tumawag nung aunt ko kahit wag nadaw mag pareserve, ayun ang ganda nanga ng nadatnan namin for the food sana nag luto nalang ako sa bahay, tutal tatayo kapa para tumawag ng staff tas nakikita mo nag tetext long pala. I mean, we want to eat filipino kitchen, but maybe we expected more long siguro sa lasa lalo na sa quality ng mga dishes papunta sa dessert haaayyyyyyy. sana bumili nalang kami dito salabas ng halo mas madami pa in malasa pa ang sahog. so is the restaurant chef logros, and that is what he presents?"
