"We returned to Sirmione for the first time since 2019 and went back to the restaurant on our first night. We did not expect to be remembered but as soon as Alba saw us we were welcomed like old friends. Alba is the very hard working, lovely waitress with whom others appeared to take issue. Perhaps we smiled when we first met and it was reciprocated? The food is good, the pizzas we had were excellent, the turbot good quality if a little under seasoned. A selection of Lugana on the wine list and even a reasonably priced Masi Amarone. We went back a couple of times later in our holiday and would recommend it for a straightforward evening meal. On our first night we just walked up and were very lucky to get a table. Every time we went it was busy, best to book."

"The outside seating has lovely views of Lake Garda and is a perfect place to enjoy great food wine. We were served a delicious amuse bouche of a dressed king prawn which made a lovely start to the meal. My starter was a beef carpaccio with rocket and parmigiano which was perfect with soft beef, hard cheese and delicious flavours. For my main course I had swordfish with a saffron sauce and herby mashed potatoes which to my surprise were cold. The dish was good with an amazing sauce but the cold mash rather put me off. The food was washed down with a great bottle of Valpoliccela. The breads were superb, the service was excellent and the setting was perfect and it was a delightful evening for the amazing price of just over 140 euros."
