"Auf Trip Advisor habe ich diese Destination gefunden. Das Resti sah sehr gemütlich aus im Internet und die kleine Karte und Fotos liessen das Wasser im Munde zusammen fliessen. Das Ambiente ist angenehm, die Innendekoratien reflekiert die Speisekarte. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Es kann schnell laut werden, kommt darauf an, ob eine grosse Gruppe im Raum ist oder nicht.Die Vorspeise: Salat war gut (mit einer Honig-Senf-Sauce), aber von meiner Solothurnersuppe war ich etwas enttäuscht, fad und sehr flüssig, da macht es Roter Turm oder Rest. Baseltor einiges besser.Unser Essen: Entrecôte Ross & Schwein an Café de Paris waren vorzüglich und die Rösti waren ausgezeichnet! Wir waren total begeistert.Das abschliessende Dessert: Apfeltartelette mit Vanille Eis war auch gut, von mir aus hätte man die Apfelschnitzel dünner schneiden können, dafür mehr Schnitten, dies hätte das Kauen angenehmer enpfunden.Die Toilette ist sauber, fehlte aber einen Duftsprei, je nach dem was vorher passiert ist :/Im Allgemeinen, eine Superadresse!Gehen wir bestimmt wieder."

"The sign at the restaurant for the old Stephan announces the year 1038. The time has not stopped, because guests are spoiled in the cozy restaurant of the highest quality. Gourmets like to meet in the restaurant to the Old Stephan in the Zunftstube , but...also in the Gaststube , or by good weather, outside in the garden restaurant on the beautiful Friedhofsplatz. The last Saturday, we had a dinner with you in the „Gaststube“. First, we were surprised with an beautiful amuse bouche and then followed the Zahnderrückenfilet (fish) with mascarpone risotto with spring vegetables on maltaiser sauce. It was an outstanding, wonderful meal. Bravo to the cook Stefan Bader with his 14 Gault Millau points. The great service and attention by the landlady Tamara Bader herself and her team was impressive. . The mixture to the old Stephan is perfect. Culinary delights paired with genuine hospitality in a well maintained, relaxed environment. Thank you for the great food we look forward to the next time! Robert Iris"

"Loved the dinner at the Cantinetta Bindella, food and service was perfect. Dining out on their beautiful patio under the (chestnut trees made me feel like I was in Italy (the 30 degrees celsius night helped too!!! . Highly recommended place."
